Doesn’t matter where the work was performed. Vehicles without required emissions equipment aren’t allowed on the road only on private property and farms. That’s why adding lane exhaust tips and rolling coal is a good way to get a $5000 fine and your vehicle impounded until the original emissions equipment are reassembled.

Diesels R Life pretty sure he meant the 6.7 specifically. I doubt anyone in the diesel world would deny the 6.0’s have head gasket issues. Trust me I have an ‘04 wit 365k on it.

Tim Arnold my 06 F250 6.0 has 337k miles on stock head gaskets and headbolts. The egr isn’t even deleted just a 5 inch exhaust

Tommy Bragalone good god you’re either lucky or know the limitations of your truck. I don’t know if mine were done before I bought it or not but I did new heads, gaskets and studs at 330k because it definitely needed it at that point. I’ve spent a long time defending the 6.0 and it’s still my personal favorite.

6.0's have hg issues among other problems but the 6.7 has solid head gaskets. The main problem on the 6.7 is the hpfp which gernades and sends metal shavings through the fuel system. The repair for a new fuel system is close to $10,000.

Tim Arnold the key to success is maintenance I change my oil and oil filter every 3000 miles sometimes even earlier then that. I also add a whole bottle of hot shots secret to the oil. I put a bottle of stanadyne fuel additive in it every fill up. I also beat the living shit out of this truck. I am not nice to it by any means. Being religious with your fluids and filters will make any Truck last longer

Dale Work tuner would be fine just be cautious throwing more hp on stock injectors. But yes a tune and straight pipe will benefit you

Bulletproof anything would be cool, lol. But for just a delete and tune the 6.7 powerstroke is pretty tough. It all depends on the tuning and the way you control that right foot. There really isn't much of a bulletproof kit for the 6.7 powerstroke. I guess you could add HD connecting rods if you want to address an issue. Some say they will last, some say they will bend/letgo at 600hp

Ive deleted trucks with 1000 miles on them, the sooner the better. The question to delete or not delete is a tough one to answer. There are pros and cons on each decision. Pros- First you will see a slight increase in MPGs but i mean slight. Second there will be less equipment failure. No more EGR(exhaust gas recirculation) cooler or throttle valve malfunctions, DEF(Diesel exhaust fluid) and DEF heater issues, DPF(diesel particulate filter) issues, ReGen problems. Less coolant contamination, less heat in the engine bay. And most importantly all of that exhaust gas will not be recirculated back into the air intake port of the engine. It will be bringing in clean new air. So the engine will be running true and unrestricted. If you have quality tunes, parts and drive reasonably there is really no down fall besides the warranty thing goes out the window. But dealers should work with you if a problem unrelated to the modification comes up! If you are looking for parts i sell them shoot me an email at Corey@mdm-performance.com and i can set you up. John Carr not true, not true at all. Here we only need one muffler or one cat or resonator. All we need for "emissions" for state inspection is one of those things.

DOT can, has, and will pull you over and look under your truck - even in GA.

The DOT guys don't care in Georgia Long as you're not doing something stupid to get your ass pulled over

6.0 to 6.7 is a night and day difference. There still is nothing like a properly built 6.0 powerstroke though!

The 6.7 is also known as a "Powerstroke", just like the 6.4, 6.0, & 7.3... & if you want to get technical the 3.2L inline 5 "Powerstroke" sold in the Ford Transit is also not built by Navistar/ International... Once again a little la investigación goes a long ways...
