One of the most beautiful-looking pie (besides my mother's SP pie) I've ever seen!! I mean it just invites you in!! The crust is just the way I like my pies to look and I like to eat. This is an excellent recipe and I have never tried it because my mother has the same ingredients except 1. So I know this will be good for a fact as I've been eating this pie recipe for over 50 years. The 1 thing my mother don't use but have tried is condensed milk it makes for a sweeter pie.

Love your instructions, that is a beautiful pie pan! This is similar to my recipe that was passed down from my Mom. Ginger is totally the secret ingredient. Differences: she only used evaporated milk, she did not use nutmeg, she used graham cracker crust and only vanilla extract. I've been trying to perfect my recipe, my Mom's pies were legendary. I'm about 99% there, I think the missing ingredient is love! ❤💕💖
