The last time I went to arby's we ordered 3 of some kind of "meat mountain" or some such sandwich with three kinds of barbecue on it. They told me it would be 20 minutes because "We only have one microwave" The logistics of Arby's is on another level.

Going by my 8 years of fast wood work experience. If I had to guess, you got some crew member's lunch lol. Probably wrapped it, slid it into the warmer and went to do something else and a confused employee saw the box and handed out as what you ordered.

I agree totally, especially when he refers to this debacle as a "logistical shortfall". In layman's terms, some teenager working there had no clue how to make this new sandwich so just tossed a bunch of random ingredients together. 😃

This is what I love about this guy. He could go to these restaurants & have them prepare a proper example of the sandwich but he won't do that. He wants to get what the average customer gets. Therefore, these companies have ONE SHOT to get their products right for a review. He doesn't need to apologize. This represents what a customer will potentially receive.

I was always confused as to why people hated Arby's so much, but didn't realise how spoiled I was until the one near me closed - It was loaded with seasoned workers and management that actually cared. The other Arby's are like 20+ minutes away and the quality is on par with other fast food places - I think it's still okay, but if you order anything other than beef/beef & cheddar, quality is a roll of the die.

I think I'm lucky to have one of those good Arby's with employees who care. I also didn't get the hate, but now that I think about it, the service and food at my local Arby's is consistently good - even though they're swamped with customers half the time (not a huge variety of fast food restaurants out here - a small city that's just big enough to have lots of people, but not big enough to have the variety of chains to match). Honestly you've made me appreciate them more now. Maybe I'll thank them next time I'm there.

Same. I've had shockingly good luck with the two in my area, but I rarely go to Arby's. I fucking love their milkshakes though, especially the jamocha. The chocolate is good, too. I plan to try the vanilla someday, but it was hard enough for me to say no to the jamocha to finally try the chocolate.

Arby's has always (with no exaggeration) gotten my order wrong, in the very little times over gone I've never gotten what I ordered on the first serving. I am impressed by your ability to improvise and change what it is that you're reviewing on the spot. Great job Mr. Brah, keep up the good work 🤝🏻

Yep. The price margin between fast food and fast casual has gotten smaller too. It used to be like $5 (at most) for taco bell and $9 for Chipotle, but now its closer to $8 for taco bell and $11 for chipotle. And at least if you order in store at chipotle they can't get the order wrong since they make it right in front of you. Nothing worse than paying $8 for taco bell, waiting 20 minutes in the drive through, only for the order to be wrong and you have to wait another 20 min for them to fix it, if you choose to look at the order before leaving.

Last time I was at Arby’s it was awful. Had one of their signature roast beast sandwiches and it was a soggy, mess and the only thing I tasted was the ridiculous amount of sodium in the “meat” which had that weird non meat color. I remember Arby’s years ago and it was good usually. But even their horsy sauce now tasted bland and is now just mostly cheep tasteless mayo. Overall I think spent about $8 on that mess…..and took them like 20 minutes because they had to deep fry the curly fries that were also disappointing.

To be fair, fast food orders coming out incorrect has always been extremely common. Always check the order to make sure you get what you ordered. Especially if you're doing a review of a particular item.

I disagree that it should be MY job to check the order. Getting what you ordered is supposed a big part of food service. It looks to me like either someone had no idea how to actually make the sandwich, or they didn't have the correct supplies and were just substituting whatever.

@@cheutho Of course the onus is on employee to get your order correct. I'll never argue against that. I'm merely saying, you can save yourself the grief of getting the wrong order by taking the precaution of assuming there's a big chance they got something wrong, and confirming first hand everything is correct. As for what happened in this Arby's review... could have been someone not knowing how to make a sandwich... could have just been handed the wrong bag. It could have been a disgruntled employee that doesn't care and sabotages sandwiches for random customers. It'll always be a mystery. But a simple 20 second inspection could have resolved the issue and saved the review.

Some years back (15-20 years?), Piccadilly, a cafeteria-style restaurant, had bourbon chicken that was actually restaurant quality. After a while, they reverted to cheaper ingredients and it was no longer as good. Over its lifetime, Piccadilly had periods of good food and lackluster food, and our sole location here in Richmond, Va., finally closed.

I used to go to a Piccadilly Cafeteria (now closed) in Nashville Tennessee. I liked their carrot soufflé, and I thought the roast beef was pretty good. I miss the old style cafeterias like Morrison’s and Piccadilly (which I think bought out Morrison’s)

My friend... you could buy a Big Mac and just throw the whole thing away and not give a review and I still would not expect an apology. I work at Arbys and this sandwich was all kinds of fucked up. Noticed a small mistake on your part, or maybe it was on the Arbys description itself. but it’s Sweet garlic dill pickles. not Sweet garlic, and dill pickles. Sandwich should have a toasted star top bun, bourbon bbq, 2-3 sweet garlic dill pickles on the bottom, 4oz of pork rip and a slice of cheddar cheese heated, and then crispy onion strings on top. Granted, they still only got the Rib, and the cheese correctly… sigh. sounds like one of my annoying stupid 16 year old coworkers got to one of your sandwiches.

I also work at Arby's. It literally looks like the backline person wasn't paying attention and put the rib on top of the Kings Hawaiian Sweet Heat Sandwich. That looks like the Sweet and Spicy sauce.

Let's get one thing perfectly clear. Your reviews are not failures. It's the failures from these fast food restaurants that are motivating people like me to make our own sandwiches at home, which more often than not are actually better than the real thing. All you are doing is looking out for our tastebuds and our bottom dollar, so keep doing your thing and we'll keep enjoying it.

Getting the wrong order seems to be more frequent for me after the pandemic. Sometimes I will ask them to fix it but mostly I consider it an adventure and just try what they decided to give me.

@@deadinside8781 I'm lucky - I live in a tiny town where everyone knows everyone. The few "fast food" places we have are two pizza joints, the hot tray at the local grocery store, the semi-premade stuff at the gas station, and a "Mexican" place. I put that in quotes because it's something of a mishmash of Tex-Mex, Ameri-Mex, Mexican, and other South/Central American cuisine. We had a burger joint, but they closed for personal reasons. It's hard to screw up pizza, and the Latino food is delicious no matter how it's thrown together.

The quality of the sandwhich does not in any way take away from the quality of your reviews. Thank you for keeping them honest and for highlighting the quality we are getting after frequent price increases! Aside from the fact that they butchered the sandwhich, I'm still hungry enough that i would try it out if i was actually willing to pay $8 for it, which im definitly not😂

In general, I think fast food quality has drastically dropped. Granted, it wasn't the healthiest thing, but now the portions are smaller, they're more expensive, and they honestly don't even taste as good as it used to.

Update, the Arby's that made this sandwich has now closed. They've covered the windows, removed the signs and cut the power to the building. Next week McDonalds will start building their building on the lot

I Googled to see if they had any other sandwich on the menu to fit the ingredients on your sandwich, but didn't find any rib sandwich from them other than the one you expected to get.

One of my favorite reviews from the gentleman in quite some time, I must say. Some times a little bump in the road leads to a fun ride, even if it wasn’t the exact ride you were expecting. Excellent video, as always.

This is the only person I have ever seen that no one seems to be able to hate, NOT EVEN THE INTERNET. Like he is just a nice dude. Almost like how some native tribes are left to themselves to preserve their culture. @@SoggywafflecakesThe average customer isn’t some hostile person out to cause problems for the workers. In fact, the average customer isn’t even going to come complain about their food being wrong. They’re just going to silently resolve not to go back to that food place. Fast food workers are falling off because the new blood doesn’t give a damn.

Thank you for sharing your experiences, ReviewBrah! The Arby's burgers/sandwiches always look SO GOOD on TV! I just haven't found an Arby's restaurant I would actually trust to eat at (not recently, anyway). Once I am there, I find myself looking at the restaurant and surrounding area... then just driving off discouraged. That's been my recent experiences with Papa John's, too.

The stock market demands infinite growth, which is impossible, so corporations fake it by cutting costs to pad their financial reports with new "profits". Workers and customers both suffer for this illusion.

I will confess that I absolutely love Arby’s roast beef sandwich with horsey sauce. Wonderful treat, I’ll drive 25 miles to the next tow.n to get one. Fifty miles round trip, makes no financially sense to do this, but I love it that much. Their curly fries, too. But nothing else on that menu is good.

Seriously, this man redefines the term "classy," and brings it back to an age when a man was under dressed if he did not wear a suit. His voice and mannerisms reflect that. Instead of saying "we don't deserve him," we should be reaching for that standard as best we can - polite behavior, honourable conduct, snappy dressing. No moping around the house in frumpy clothes, no talking badly about or to others, and no disrespectful attitudes in public. He shows us a better way to be ourselves. He's someone to recognize as a positive role model.

The Arby’s in my neighborhood closed down…I’m assuming due to poor sales and fails like this. The workers there always seemed liked they’d rather be anywhere else but at Arby’s.

Hey reviewbrah, i don't know if you'll read this and if you do, i don't know what effect will have on you. But it's not necessary to apologise for not getting the item when it's not even your fault. I am from Argentina and i don't even eat fast food, so, like a lot of people, we watch you not becase of the food, but because of you. We don't really know you at all, but even in this parasocial relationship, we really enjoy hearing your eloquent analysis of this kinda stuff, it's really fun and you bring a lot of personality to food made by a soulless company. Life has been grim for the whole world and me, so just getting some nice video from you once a week, it's a bright spot in my life. Hope you don't get discouraged and thanks man.

Whats even funnier about this review is that, every Arby's I've been to or worked at, the buffalo sauce is the ONLY sauce that isn't stored in a squirt bottle. It's in a tin that we'd just dunk the chicken into before slamming the meat on the sandwiches. Whoever did this to you had zero clue what was happening.

My experience with Arby’s has been if you order anything to go you NEED to go thru the bag and check EACH item because they will just put any thing in the bag so they can get to the next car/truck/suv, etc in line… it doesn’t seem to matter so much as what you order as to what they have available to put in your sack…..

Half of the fast food experiences I have don't get the order right ever since the pandemic. It's a wonder they're still in business when they give you whatever they feel like that day. Once I ordered and payed for an Oreo shake, then they told me "We don't have Oreo shakes" like... Okay but it was on the menu and I bought one? I asked if they could replace it with something of equal value. "No." Absolutely insane that they can just take your money if they feel like it.

I would highly recommend mixing a vinegar based hot sauce like a buffalo sauce (or just plain Franks) with a sweet / smokey BBQ sauce. They compliment each other very well. Especially on wings.

What I liked right on the last one I watched he said on a 17 minute stream at about 2-5 minutes in he says, I won't waste your time it's good if you need to stop watching. Or something like that. This kid is a gem and a true first class act! Keep up the great work
