There is already so much fantasy crafting, and so much 40k crafting. And while I still watch those, one of the many things I love about your channel is that you are one of the few folks that isnt predominately doing wh40k. I get it, 40k is the biggest fish in the pond, but its just nice to see some non-40k crafting for a change.

I'd vote for both sci-fi and fantasy - and more ships/vehicles for sci-fi is good, since the right fantasy terrain will work for both fantasy and sci-fi

Hello, Jim! Great color choices for this project. Looks like sablebadger did your original version right! Thank you for showing us how to mix washes, too.

This came out great! I lean slightly more towards sci-fi crafting than fantasy, but I'm happy to see whatever you come up with! Also, you mentioned that you hate painting yellow. Have you heard the pink trick? Pink works really well as a basecoat/undercoat for yellow and orange. Especially with the cheap acrylics us terrain builders like to use. =)

If anyone is looking for tips on working with the foam... check out Bill Doran. He's an excellent prop maker and has some quality videos on how to work with foam (cutting, gluing, shaping, sealing, etc.).

I recall a video by Adam Savage where he was showing how he made panels for spaceships for motion pictures/tv that might have some inspiration for projects like this. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hM-Kg9h2ld2mdWw.html

Guess what? Whenever I am looking for things to do for my< SciFi Projects like Kitbashing a Starship I find your Videos. There are a lot of very cool SciFi projects out there but most of them are just for fun, and not meant to be used for tabletop gaming. The problem: I already know your videos. So I really would like to see a bit more SciFi stuff. Fantasy is ok. Just don't drop the science fiction elements.
