After almost a year after it's ending, I can honestly say Rucas was the better couple. During it's run, I was a Lucaya shipper because I got caught up in the fandom and theory videos. But after watching the series again, I realized Rucas was a very healthy and mature relationship that was just amazingly realistic and amazing. This is what young girls should strive for in there future relationships. They always sacrificed their relationship, so they wouldn't lose each other. That speaks volumes for there love for each other.I also believe that Maya and Lucas just wasn't attracted to each other, and were just friends. They always gravitated towards other people. For Lucas, it was Riley and for Maya, it was Josh. BUT LET'S BE CLEAR HERE, just because I ship Rucas, doesn't mean I ship Joshaya. I hate them with a burning passion. I believe Maya deserves better. I believe Josh was manipulating Maya, for his own benefit. I ship Maya and Farkle together. I believe Farkle would have treated her so well, and I believe they would've been compatible as a couple. But Smarkle is cute too. All in all, Rucas was a great couple, they weren't perfect, and had problems but they worked hard to get through them, which made them that much stronger as a couple.
