I made this bc I saw this video • Video and I thought it could be a good idea to do a rucas and lucaya video. But not about their story apart, but their (rucas) story since the whole triangle started. I know people are gonna say that I missed some clips, but I tried and I have school and some other things to do. I put at least the most important moments, I think. I spent days in this and I had a lot of headaches bc of this.
If you are here to judge, leave. This is a fan-made video and I did what I could. I won't allow fights on the comments below.

One can see how hard Maya tried not to admit to her feelings, not to show that she likes Lucas, Maya tried her best to make sure Lucas and Riley had a good relationship because she knew Lucas was going to pick Riley no matter what. And here, Lucas makes it clear he likes Riley, then the campfire scene. It just confused her more. And she also confessed to Riley where Lucas was trying to hide it. Anyways, now in real life we have farkle and Maya as endgame so ✌

The whole reason Lucas and Riley end up being together is because of Maya. From the day on the subway when she pushed Riley to Lucas, and when she said to Lucas “If you like me, go and tell Riley that you love her” It’s all because of Maya, and because she cares so much for Riley. And Lucas does what Maya says and confesses to Riley. Because of Maya. Maya is the best friend anyone could ask for.

Lucas literally said he didn’t like Maya. Riley also stepped back when she found out maya had feelings. It’s before the New Years episode. Riley told Farkle that Maya had done so much for her that she would step back. They both stepped back for each other and Maya also said she didn’t like Lucas like that. End of story.

I don't think he played them. He didn't want to make a choice because he knew that his choice would affect the way they treat him and before been his love interests they are his friends and he don't want that to change.

Ok rucas is eh and all but RIKLE ALL THE FREAKIN WAYYY! Farkle always has understood her and farkle ALWAYS gets her!!! The fact that he didn’t get Riley or EVEN Maya kills me! He did not love Smackle HALF as much as he absolutely love maya and Riley!! Ughhhh🙄🙄 I also just love farkle and he was so nice and adorable and ppl only noticed him when he turned hot! Lucas knew Maya didn’t really like him like that. She lost herself for a while there. She was taking on Riley’s personality as her own so she got confused about her feelings. He was just waiting for things to work themselves out between Riley and Maya because if he’d made his true feelings known, he’d have hurt their friendship. He wasn’t willing to let them lose each other. So he helped Maya find her own voice again so he could be with Riley without causing irreparable harm.

You guys do realize that in the ski lodge episode, maya told josh that she never liked Lucas romantically. The only reason why she ever said she did was because she had a Riley mindset not a maya mindset. I also don’t think that maya was being selfish. We all know that maya had gone a while thinking Riley only liked Lucas as a brother and when Riley confirmed that in the Texas episodes, it made sense for maya to “make a move” or something.

this just makes me mad because maya and lucas were so blind. riley is a naturally giving and kind person, she would obviously step back for maya. did maya really just go in for it, not looking back for a second? she blindly believed riley didn’t like lucas like that because that’s what she wanted. i love maya, but she was selfish. she didn’t even stop and think, “riley getting over him that quick doesn’t make sense.” because like she said in that one episode, the head and heart one (i don’t remember what it was called) maya talks about how she goes through life by feelings, and riley said she uses her head. riley was hurting herself emotionally for maya and lucas, and they blindly and ignorantly went along with it. lucas moved on from riley to maya in literally seconds. he was telling riley he didn’t think they were “brother and sister” and then in that exact same scene, he’s all in maya’s face in some romantic moment? lucas has never, ever mentioned anything about liking maya. they’ve shared moments, but those to me were brother-sister moments. my point is, riley had to deal with this and the only person who even noticed was farkle. because he knows riley. and that’s why i ship riarkle, because he knew her enough to understand how she felt, he tried to help her while maya and lucas willingly hurt her because they didn’t even stop to think about her after the campfire.

SHE IS THE MOST SELFLESS CHARACTER IVE EVER SEEN. and when Lucas comes into the picture, I believe we were also told That Maya hadn't spoken about her feelings ever since the start. She never told Riley how she felt. Riley figured it out on her own, that's different. But Maya never wanted to be the person who was the homewrecker. She did not straight up go to Riley and tell how she felt about Lucas. Riley stepped back for what, 2 episodes until she got into the triangle again. And you tell me that Maya was selfish?! Again, Maya stepped back, because Josh apparently (who wasn't even there for the whole freaking season) told her she didn't like Lucas, so she stepped back. Again.

I kind of liked the riley and lucas relationship in season 1, but in season 2-3 they deserve better. I mean, the writers always cut their cute scenes and give them to another couple. And the fact that rowan is more comfortable with corey makes rucas have less physical contact than other couples

When riley was auditioning for cheerleader position maya wanted to leave and lucas is the one who convinced everyone to stay and support riley. When lucas is participating in the bull contest maya wanted to leave and riley is the one who convinced everyone to stay and support lucas. This is one of the many reasons why it is rucas from the beginning to the end.

I personally believe that Lucas' relationship with Maya or Riley was too forced, they didn't have the best chemistry between them.. the best couples would've been Maya+Josh and Riley+Farkle

i just cant understand why maya has to get in the middle of lucas and riley. they have liked and maybe loved each other for the whole series. you can obviously tell that lucas like riley way more than he likes maya and you can tell how he got so defensive when riley told him she wants to be brother and sister with him. obviously maya likes josh and lucas but she knows that riley has true feelings. Maya had a little crush on lucas. i mean who wouldnt. when lucas was evening up when he looked at riley than maya, its clear he wants riley and when he said its always been riley since day one clearly he’s in love with her. RUCAS ALL THE WAY and maya said that shes the one that makes his heart ‘go clipetty clop’. Josh and Maya make a good couple and Riley and Lucas make an amazing couple

I really don’t like how the triangle ended. Lucas picked Riley for the subway. Maya pushed her. Riley said she liked him. Maya told her to do that too. With Maya, she knew Riley like him so she “stepped back”. And then they made her believe she did it to see if Lucas is good enough. No way. My POV: Always pick the second choice. Maya was the second. If you really loved the first, you wouldn’t have fallen for the second.

Maya hid her feelings and got rid of them to help Riley she liked Lucas but saved her feelings for her best friend does this not mean anything? She obviously liked Lucas from the start but doesn't show until she thinks Riley doesn't because she wouldn't if Riley still did because she wants to protect her best friends feelings

What Maya did was so toxic.. Maya pushed Riley in Lucas' lap and she was there for Riley when Riley was catching hard feelings for Lucas and then Maya suddenly has feelings for him too?? What the hell is that what kind of "bestfriend" does that? and everytime she would see Lucas compliment or get jealous over Riley she'd act so clingy and weird.. and in doing all of that she put Riley through so much heartbreak and sadness just so in the end she can realize "oh turns out I don't have feelings" lmao wow
