"You don't need a diet, you need a psychologist." THANK YOU. Someone finally said it!!!

100% agree about the psychological help prior to major "diets". As a previous bulimia/ binge and purge- the hardest part is analysing why and changing those ideas. Bravo for raising eating disorders and athletes/men.

This is one of the least judgmental food videos I've ever watched from people who know what peak fitness is like. I'm not kidding the comment about people who overeat should seek therapy before a diet brought me to tears. If only there were more people like you guys in the world.

Finding the right foods and the right amount of food is harder than it sounds. Finding that routine is hard. I also have health problems. Once I get it all figured out along with the yoga I'm doing I think it will really make a difference.

I used to eat pretty well and was much more motivated and excited about cooking to fuel my body right for the workouts I was doing, then Covid really f-ed that since I wasn't able to go climbing and home workout got pushed to the side by work and constant tiredness. I wasn't moving much so I didn't feel properly hungry and that became a habit, so at some point I noticed I was thinner and had frequent dizzy spells and went to weigh myself. I had lost around 4 kg of bodyweight (mostly muscle but also fat) in under a month, probably. This was in April or something, so it's better now but I still forget to eat sometimes 'cause my appetite just isn't the same and I'm still not anywhere close to my pre-pandemic activity levels. At least the dizziness is gone, so this is probably maintenance rather than losing weight, which is good, 'cause I'm still sitting below what used to be my average weight (51-53kg, down to 47 and now around 48-49).

Good spelling he “ties” to eat the same diet lol

I intermittently fast every day. I only eat once a day in the evening on average unless I’m out and eat something when I’m hungry. When I used to go to the gym regularly I’d eat a lot of high protein, low fat meals with some carbs and it works but it’s a hard slog to maintain for me. Everyone eats their way, yes you can copy certain things from diets and meal plans but at the end of the day it’s you who decides what and when you eat. Though my biggest peeve is Nile putting tomato sauce on a steak🤦♂️🤣🤣
