"The first major network poll following Thursday night’s debate is out, and it contains some devastating data for President Joe Biden.
According to a CBS News/You Gov poll out Sunday - a whopping 72 percent of Americans believe Biden does not have the “mental and cognitive health to serve as president.” That’s a 7 point increase from just three weeks ago. By comparison, voters are essentially split on whether former President Donald Trump has the mental and cognitive health for the job - with 50 percent saying he does, and 49 percent saying he does not."*

I’m an independent voter who lives in Nevada. I was undecided until I saw the debate. I am so pissed that the democrats have put us in this position. I no longer trust that party not only for their arrogance, but for their utter stupidity. For the first time since becoming an adult, I am not sure I will vote unless I am offered a viable alternative from Mr. Potato.

The earth shattering stupidity of the position which says: The Democrats haven’t done enough, so we are not going to support them, or Democrats and Republicans are just two sides of neoliberalism and corporate rule, so I am not going to support them. I actually agree, Democrats haven’t done enough, and virtually the whole world is in being destroyed by neoliberalism, corporate power and the ruling class. But democracy is the only weapon that “we the people” have to fight back. A protest vote, against yourself, is not a solution. It seems to me that many of the people who make these kinds of arguments are very likely to be privileged most likely white most likely male, spoilt brats who are not going to suffer that much if many of the issues I mention above are gutted by the Republicans. Privileged brats who probably earn above the minimum wage, who have health care, who are not an oppressed minority, are not Palestinian, are not concerned about their reproductive rights. Spoilt, privileged brats who think more about their “strong opinions” than they do about the millions of people who will suffer greatly if the progressive democratic project falters and if the the GOP (who let’s face it are simply the political arm of the ruling class) win office. I studied those polls and predicted Clinton would lose to Trump. Voters 18-30 will determine the outcome of this election. Along with Independents. Trump's supporters will show up no matter what he says or does. Joe Biden isn't inspiring confidence or generating enthusiasm needed to capitalize with the age group. Biden probably does a bit better with Independents. The costs of housing, child care, education and other essentials are killing the President. Many simply don't have purchasing power or the ability to save and invest. It's a perfect storm for a Trump victory. I'm not a fan. I despise the guy. Senator Klobuchar with Cory Booker or Wes Moore as VP would match up well against Trump. About anyone having a degree of competency with a vision and the ability to articulate can win. Biden is in trouble.

The earth shattering stupidity of the position which says: The Democrats haven’t done enough, so we are not going to support them, or Democrats and Republicans are just two sides of neoliberalism and corporate rule, so I am not going to support them. I actually agree, Democrats haven’t done enough, and virtually the whole world is in being destroyed by neoliberalism, corporate power and the ruling class. But democracy is the only weapon that “we the people” have to fight back. A protest vote, against yourself, is not a solution. It seems to me that many of the people who make these kinds of arguments are very likely to be privileged most likely white most likely male, spoilt brats who are not going to suffer that much if many of the issues I mention above are gutted by the Republicans. Privileged brats who probably earn above the minimum wage, who have health care, who are not an oppressed minority, are not Palestinian, are not concerned about their reproductive rights. Spoilt, privileged brats who think more about their “strong opinions” than they do about the millions of people who will suffer greatly if the progressive democratic project falters and if the the GOP (who let’s face it are simply the political arm of the ruling class) win office. Friends, pull your heads out of your collective wazu and vote like, if not your lives depend on it, the lives of all the underprivileged and oppressed depend on it. And if that does not matter to you, then stop pretending to care, because actually… You Don’t. Stop pretending that you are on the left, because actually… You are Not.

Yes, but his team's reaction to the "bad" debate makes me wonder about them. Like deer in the headlights they did nothing in reaction to it except to say, "Don't believe your lyin' eyes." That's not even spinning. The incompetence of his team is why I'm especially worried.
