Another fact is.. Ryder wasn’t supposed to die or betray cj. But since his voice actor quit early they had no choice but to kill him off.

Even without all these features, I'm still amazed how PS2 was able to handle gta sa since it was an open world with 3 big cities on it, and the details is just unbelievable.

Imagine the different viewpoints from CJ, Caeser, and Sweet if you could play as them all. That is a really awesome feature. It doesn't surprise me that it was cut. Ps2 definitely wasn't capable of keeping up with all of that at the same time.

The cars being dirty thing was a PC issue, on the ps2 version the cars would eventually get dirty, on PC they are always dirty

The Dirty car's only appear on the steam release, where it was always dirty, On the Disc version of the game, you would actually make you're car dirty yourself. So you were correct but also wrong. :D

yeah so were reflections. They were removed for the pc because back then nobody believed pc gaming would be a successful market and only car wheels are reflective on pc now

The paint and spray will clean it but when you drive through sand or dirt it will instantly go dirty (if not then mobile has some details in it)

the skateboard was supposed to be introduced during the mission "Madd Dogg's Rhymes" during the part where you exit the house instead of being prompted to use the mountain bike given to you there would be a skateboard and i''m guessing a tutorial or a popup box with the controls for it if you haven't found a skateboard before playing that mission if it were still in the game.

Wow this is amazing. The skateboard feature would’ve been incredible, but I’m even more surprised of the character change feature as if it wasn’t originally planned for GTA V.. incredible lol missed opportunity on not implementing it but it would’ve needed a lot of work and a ton more money put into the game which may have been worth it

1. The drug dealing feature can be returned (not completely) by the BlackMarket mod, (when i installed new mod to my san andreas, i installed the SkyUI by _AG, and seeing in the stats menu, the blackmarket restores the cut drug dealing stats) 2. mods can do anything 3. By deleting the #s from the bikes mods in the carmods.dat, i dont know why but by enter to transfender with a motorbike, the game crash 4. You can also clean your car in Pay N Spray, (silentpatch add the ability to clean cars, due a code error) try it on PS2™ 5. Nice Video, you got my like ;)

Might be a relatively old video but it does explain the scale that San Andreas’ gameplay was originally supposed to have. The 3 character thing is what I think is the most interesting part. Imagine if the game was released today. You’d have a Aztecas storyline as well and you could delve into Sweet’s businesses while CJ was working with other Los Santos based characters, excluding C.R.A.S.H.

Then I suppose fuel was also supposed to be limited and refilled,since there was stuff like car washes,or that's just an assumption. But man...so many features lost... :( And when I see those many mods...if half of them were in the actual game,GTA SA would undoubtedly be the best game ever. Imagine if there were Bigfoot,ghost drivers,Leatherface,Samara,animals...roaming around. Flood happening. Parkour moves. Etc.

The character wheel was never a thing, in 2013 when 5 came out people talked about how it could have been a thing but it never actually was a thing, it's just a mod.

That's weird, i remember my PlayStation 2 official GTA San Andreas to have that mini game and i played it several Times, i could ONLY do the minigame if my progress with Denise was MAX, as a kid i never understood what they were doing but i can guarantee that i played that minigame at my PS2, unfortunately that CD doesn't work anymore, idk if it was because of my CD but i did play that cool minigame

I remember on my PS2 copy, cars would get dirty after driving around a lot, especially off road. One time, I had the Cars Float on Water cheat on and the car got clean due to the water! I don’t think it worked on my PC copy though.

When my son was about 11 years old he entered a Jaycee Relay Race. He’d never ran track before and didn’t know everybody wore shorts. He came in jeans, to everyone’s amusement. He ran the last leg for his team - and came away the fastest runner of the day, and made up considerable distance to win. This video made me think of that day. How I wish I had been able to see it, instead of only hear and read about it. I was a single mom and had to work. My son was an amazing athlete. ❤️

Damn that multiple protagonist one is crazy. That would’ve changed the game completely. Works for gta 5 but I’m happy with how it turned out though with cj getting the main spotlight

after modifying a save game to have dealers in San Fierro I discovered that those biker dealers spawn there It might be a removed feature? make sense if you remember the "happy hippie" shop

Fun fact:the biker dealer only appears one time in the game and it's in the beginning of the game when you have to take the bike to go to CJ's house to meet Big Smoke other than that time you won't ever find him
