Thanks Doc. Was out looking for information on hemorrhoids and I am so glad I found your channel. Have a round lump at the end of my anus! I started to freak out. I am just hoping it doesn't burst. I made an apt. with my family doctor.. but its like a week out. Hoping to get the OTC stuff and try that and then that Panicura cream. Do you know anything about Mayinglong Musk Hemorrhoidal Ointment? I ordered some on amazon. I drive long hours sitting on my bum and lift alot of heavy objects at work.... I am sure its from that.

@@yourfriendlyproctologist What stds can cause perirectal abscess and cause constant drainage from anus .I've been checked for gonorrhea chlamydia syphilis hiv all negative labs normal too but can understand unless it's fistula but stds can cause fistula too I wonder if it's something that's they have not diagnosed I never took cephalexin then once Labs were done and complete blood cell count was done they said I did not need the cephalexin..wow so confusing..sucks to have a wet itchy anus every day..from where perirectal abscess used to be??😢😢😢

I'm so thankful I found you when I first started dealing with constipation and hemorrhoid issues last summer! It's such an awkward topic yet you make it so comfortable and honest! Having a hemorrhoid flare right now for no apparent reason after things had calmed down for awhile.

@@yourfriendlyproctologist is it common that this panicura makes it sting and burn 🔥 that's what happened to me I needed to rush to wash it off .. tried it several times ....omg it burned soo bad . I think it's the menthal part that burns ... I'm sad I really wanted it to work 😞

Had an external hemorrhoid explode from an internal thrombosed hemorrhoid after being sent home from the emergency room 4 seperate days, over a week in Canada. Being told, it would shrink in one to two days. It just kept growing. I was in excruciating pain, I never believed it could hurt that bad. Went to use the toilet, and it exploded as I went. So much blood. A shocking amount. Enough that the next trip to the hospital, I had low blood pressure. The doctor who finally helped in the hospital cut it more from the site of the explosion, got out a clot the size of a large marble. Kept doing baths like your channel suggested (thank you) and it's taken over two weeks to settle, one week to stop weeping and heal. I'm honestly terrified to go back to work and all. But need to make a living. I have a surgeon lined up soon to do a colonoscopy, not really sure what's going to happen. But I'm just thankful for the advice on this channel and that I was able to soothe the pain somewhat. The meds given only made it burn horribly. All that helped was laying down, and having baths. I have a pressure up both sides of my abdomen. Pain that isn't really ever gone. A pressure feeling. I have been using restorolax and that helps the first movement of the day which is usually smooshed to one side and very small. Then the rest of the day is basically iced tea looking diarrhea. So. Much. Fun... I'm actually concerned it's cancer and have no idea how this thing clotted and formed so quick and painfully.

Unfortunately there's not a cure for fistula's in the contemporary medicine world that will heal you fully..if you do wish to know of something that can fix things pls reply back and I will write them down for you..They've worked wonders for me and I hope they will help you too!

Thank u Dr Chung for these videos seriously I have a small pinhole where I used to have a perirectal abscess over a year ago and I pray it's okay..and doesn't cause harm its been really traumatizing for me. I have had std test that are negative I've had cultures done that were normal and labs .normal as well..but can't understand the itching sometimes and the pus that comes out I really hope some day not to notice anything anymore..for example of i.had a fistula I would not want surgery but instead treat the root cause of problem that would have caused it in the first place because somewhere in my life I probably did something wrong have that weather knowing it or not😥I'm 44 years old

It sounds like a fistula from your story, but I highly recommend you see a specialist who can see you and confirm it. It's difficult to make recommendations without more information. Best to you in your recovery!

@@yourfriendlyproctologist I went to a VA colorectal surgeon they said they didn't see anything when they examined me so I don't know but I just hope everything can go back to normal and also then again I never really notice my rear end before that much until I had the abscess inside my anus October 2022

One of the worst stories I've heard was from someone who thought apple cider vinegar would be a great cure for hemorrhoids. They soaked a cotton ball in it and left it between the cheeks overnight. In the morning, the area was burning and the hemorrhoid was four times as big. That definitely convinced me not to try that remedy myself!

I actually use apple cider vinegar and coconut oil mix together and use it as an enema. In a few days the pain from the hemorrhoids are gone. Only comes back when I eat carelessly

Doctor, in the gym, should we train with training divisions like Bro splits , which put a lot of pump in a single area, to allow recovery for the leg and core muscles, or do full body splits to spread the pump throughout the body? Does the very strong and localized muscle pump in the legs make the anal veins dilate even more? Your content is incredible! I'm watching here from Brazil. Doctor i made lateral internal sphincterotomy (LIS) fissure surgery at 16.05.2023 after that my wound not healed iam waiting for more than six moths stil its not heald after doctors suggest for 2nd surgery advancements flap surgery don at 16.12.2023 but still small side of wound not healing the wound re opan and iching what was the problem what can i di for it .

In Asia we use a hose with a nozzle on it, sometimes referred to as a "butt gun". 🔫 When the stars are aligned and the water pressure is adequate, the water can squirt right up your butt. With this enema, you can shit again, sometimes excreting that which wouldn't have come out otherwise. If your first movement was the sticky kind, this process makes you feel much cleaner afterwards. Is this okay?

Well this video was terrifying to watch before bed. Had piles for 25y I had the worse flair up ever a few months to the point the pain of a BM was unbearable. Luckily I'm in a better place now after a steroid cream, sitz baths, pranicura cream and washing with a shower head and pat drying. Good luck out there all my fellow suffers.
