In this episode, M. R. Hari talks about certain essential things we should keep in mind when we are engaged in any farming activity. The most important factor that contributes to success in agriculture is fertility of soil. That can be effected in a cost-effective and Nature-friendly manner by leaving a portion of one’s land untilled, and permitting earthworms to make their burrows. Their castings will improve the fertility of the soil, provide aeration, permit tiny channels for water to drain into the soil, and improve one’s harvest.

You mentioned that human urine is not good for soil. What is your thoughts on Cow urine as it is used to make many products like jeevamrutham, panchagavya, etc which are helping the plants?

My dear friend, I don't know whether human urine is good or not. I have noticed that earth worms find it difficult to stay there. I also use cow urine. But there we dilute it with water. Isnt it?

I think Urine from every animal is almost sterile But cow dung contain many microbes that help in improving the soil as so does human manure or any other animal But there is a risk of pathogens

തുടക്കത്തിൽ അഴുകിയ കരിക്കിൻ തൊണ്ടിൽ കുമ്മായം ഇട്ടിരുന്നു. അത് കനക കുന്നിൽ ആയിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് ഇട്ടിട്ടില്ല എന്നാനോർമ. അന്ന് മേൽമണ്ണിൽ അല്ല ഇട്ടത് എന്നാണോർമ്മ

ഞാൻ മണ്ണിര കമ്പോസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു ......വളരെ സന്തോഷം ആയിരുന്നു അതൊക്കെ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ.....ഇപ്പൊൾ വീട് മാറിയതോടെ അതിനെ നോക്കാൻ ആരും ഇല്ലാതെ നശിച്ചു പോയി😔😔😔😔
