The dungeon section was to long in my opinion. It needed to be cut down a little bit. I didn’t watch it. I just listened to. But felt too long . And a lot of times., The boys doesn’t throw to much gross stuff, every episode. Sometimes it doesn’t show it. But here we had multiple gross things going on. And even had a gross ending. Both that were completely shown. I’m not saying the boys is never gross. But it’s never raised to the point, where you don’t want to watch. This episode was. Ultimately cool with this episode. It just made me feel uncomfortable. Because of her over the top it was. And sometimes it’s just said not shown. To spare you. Maybe it’s just me though. I’ve always been OK with violent death. But I’ve never been good with gross out humor. It makes me feel very uncomfortable for some reason. I don’t really find it funny at all. So maybe it’s just me. I can deal with homelander being evil.. I can deal with violent death. But I can’t deal with gross out humor. It bothers me.

I find it hard to believe that this was only the second penultimate episode of the season, as it feels like we still got a long way to go before we reach the season finale. The one upside of this episode though, was getting to watch Nathan Michelle without the mask. I had seen pictures of him on the internet, but he doesn’t appear to have any well known acting credits.

What direction? There is no direction. The plot goes round and round in circles.

Season two was them trying to survive while they were in the run, while simultaneously trying to separate Becca and Ryan from Homelander. Season three in my opinion had the best senses of direction because it finally was focusing on the main conflict of the ENTIRE show: Homelander being eliminated. (I always felt that the comic book didn’t even try; he was cocky up until the last few moments of his life, right before the HAX was pulled out: a more powerful clone.
