Being a hardcore Minecraft fanatic it's soooo nice having been watching these videos to relive these things through new eyes. I literally binged your whole playlist yesterday.

IMPORTANT CAT-SAVING HINT: tame 4-5 cats and let them sit under the farm. That would prevent cats from spawning IN the farm and help chase creepers away. SAVE THE CATS.

Terrific video! Moving villagers is always a pain. There's are simpler iron farms, but they don't generate as much iron. I've seen the video that you found instructing how to build this one, and it's three most efficient and fastest I've yet seen. I'm very impressed with how much you accomplished, and I always enjoy your videos. 💜🥰🔥💯😊👍

Hint: next time give villagers food and beds. and they would make tiny new villagers until they ran out of food or beds. so you just had to move 2 of them, not 20.0 On the bright side, you are now a villager moving expert. An achievement on its own.

you could just breed the villages you have to get more villages instead of going to another village. place 3 beds and give 2 villagers some food. they will create a baby villager.

Nice, nice! Great job! If you plan to make more farms, keep in mind some of them work differently for Java/Bedrock versions (you're playing Bedrock) since redstone works differently between versions, and most of the tutorials on KZfaq are for Java.

It's always quite an experience dealing with villagers but it's amazing that you managed to do a farm by yourself in survival. I can imagine how hard you tried and how frustrating behind the scenes was. I'll keep waiting for your next video Since you are with the villagers maybe you should try to trade with them to the maximum. You will be surprised by all the things they sell. (ps smithing table, Stonecutter, blast furnace, fletching table and grindstone will give you what you want most and all you have to do is replace the fletching tables that the villagers already have)

4:51 You can make your own village from the ground up if you can get two villagers to your home. Just build three houses, place beds in them and crafting table type blocks (for a lack of a better word, so smithing table, composter etc) Give the houses beds, if you can get a bell for your village that would be good etc. Free the villagers there to live in the houses, feed them some bread, throw some wheat seeds, potatoes, carrots etc at the farmer villager once you got one, and then just keep building more houses with beds and various forms of crafting tables. Once you have at least 5 villagers they'll start creating iron golems to protect themselves when they see enemies. Make some tilled soil for the farmer villager and he'll plant the seeds, potatoes etc that you give him (throw, don't trade for him to plant them). And he'll start occasionally feeding the other villagers. And all of that started with just two villagers and three beds.

A few years ago, an update to villagers came out and it revamped how you make these iron farms. In the Java version of Minecraft, one had to build similar contraptions like you did in this video. Now days though, Java edition is so much more simple than the contraption you just built here. Funny and sad how that is. Also, I felt your pain when the villager decided to not cooperate. The look on your face said everything we needed to know about your struggles that day.

You can middle mouse click while looking at a block to get it from your inventory, helps a lot when your doing big builds like this.

So... nobody's gonna talk about how you can breed villagers and you only needed to capture two?

"How do people figure this stuff out?" - oh, that brings me so far back. I had that question sooooooo long time ago. But then I figured that out. And the answer is: all the game rules in Minecraft are ridiculously simple. it's miracle, how you could make a game so rich yet so simple! And there is the system behind that madness. and it's sort of a simple one. - mobs could spawn on solid blocks. on most blocks, but there are exceptions - mobs don't spawn on leaves, for instance, otherwise, trees would be swarming with creepers (eek) - golem spawn near villagers, under the open sky (so they are not in the caves under the village) you add all those simple rules together and you get this farm: you confine villagers in a box, cover the area in a block that cannot spawn mobs, and then you provide a platform where mobs could spawn. Now YOU are in control of this seemingly chaotic world! How do you know all those rules? They are open. Read your rule book (e.g. Minecraft wiki), and use them to your own advantage. That's how you became a pro. Not just in Minecraft, but in life generally.

With the water, you can place two sources of water with one space in between, then that will become a source block too. So when filling water like this you just need two buckets, one every other block and take from the previous middle space to continue. Edit: Use the 'pick block' button, usually it's pressing your mousewheel by default. Use M3 (clicking down on the mousewheel) on any block in the overworld. If that block is in your inventory, that block type will be selected and put in your hotbar.

I love your dedication that you actually moved 20 villagers 🤯 Moving 2 to set up my villager breeder for trade center is always such a frustrating task.

Just for the future, you can breed villagers, and you can convert zombie villagers (the zombies with the big noses) back into villagers There have to be more beds than villagers and you have to throw them food (bread, carrots, raw potatos or beets), not clicking on them like for the animals, then they will have babies Also yeah, you're killing cats. You've essentially built the bare requirements for a village bc villages spawn iron golems, but also cats

There is a much easier way to make an iron farm and it involves digging a 5x5x9 pit in the ground. Much smaller and quicker to make. But this is a nice iron farm and it'll definitely give you some good iron. The only thing is you'll have to go AFK for a few hours near the farm since it won't work if you're something like 50 blocks away from it. I built mine near my home base so I have an endless stream. And yes, the villager part of the making of the farm is the hardest part by far.

Wow. I cannot believe the amount of pain and suffering that you endured to make this. You have way more patience than I do. I had no idea what was even happening until the very end when I saw that the villagers were spawning Golem. Incredible effort. There is a tutorial for farming XP using sugar cane that I'm tempted to build. But right now I farm XP using a spawner. Check my comment in your Netgerwart video to see how to safely attack enemies. This is awesome! Tip: if you middle mouse click on a block and have that block in your inventory it will automatically put it in your hand so you don't have to open your inventory.

Nice farm, I would be too impatient and stuff to even make this LOL. Most I've ever made was an automatic brewery but thats about it lol and that took me a lot of time already

30:20 It's not a very efficient design, but it'll *work*. And given how primitive it is you'd be hard pressed to screw it up. You *can* make farms producing orders of magnitude more tha takes about the same amount of space, but it's hard to get those to work properly as intended. So this is a good starter iron farm. You can also make iron farms that's easier to make in terms of effort, but that again is easy to screw up. This design trades tons and tons of work and low efficiency in return for being very, very hard to get wrong.

Jc plays has the easiest bedrock farms I have found and easy to follow along to.

I was also having a really bad time watching your videos. Not on the bad side though, like i felt you agony while doing it .. I hope you know about villager breeding at that time coz it would be easy.. like if you get two villagers in the box. you can just breed them by laying all the beds equivalent to villagers you need then toss them a lot of carrots, bread, potatoes, beetroot for them to start breeding.. oh we're so sorry for the trouble haha. but congrats for having iron farm you need throughout the series.

All you really need is 2 villagers and some food and beds to have as many villagers as you need
