That was crazy! I would load heavy things like that on backward so that the front will have some weight on it when you're unloading. I had some 4-inch tall steel removable side rails made for the last 12 feet of the rear of my trailer to keep anything from sliding off when loading and unloading. And they saved my ass 3 weeks after I got them. I got a call to haul a brand new excavator, and it was rainy out, and when unloading it, it slid and the rail stopped it from going over the side. It bowed my rail a little, and that was fine with me. lol.

For everyone saying this is unsafe, I agree that the trailer wasn't loaded properly, but we weren't there to see for ourselves how much the rear axle was sagging for example. A properly equipped 6.7 F-350 DRW can tow up to 32,000 lbs, but again we don't know exactly how his truck is set up, what his rear axle ratio is, or the gross combined weight of this setup, etc. Doesn't look like he's risking anyone's life, as long as he keeps it slow and under control. That truck was working hard but even hauling within the manufacturers recommended ratings a truck will work that hard on grades like these, and obviously it takes longer to stop. As long as you give yourself room and are able to stop within a reasonable distance, I don't see what the huge deal is.

@@BBChEvY859 probably, their 80k trucks can easily gross 120k in the PNW 🤣 danger is a drama queen who knows what that actually weighed, the hubs on that trailer look huge, probably plenty of breaks, not sure about the ball though! It might be your weak link, the limiting factor is often cooling, powerplant wise you can probably pull more on a cool rainy day.
