Keep doing what you're doing! Nice, simple, satisfying videos that one can turn their brain off for a bit and thoroughly enjoy. I don't comment often, but I thought I'd show some love

I just ordered an Arken SH-4 through your channel, can't wait to get it. I have a brand new palmetto 6.5 Grendel I haven't even fired yet, but watching your channel is giving me great info for when I actually get out in the desert. Greetings from NM.

Hi. I have been using ZeroTech scopes, I have 2, for the last 3 years. I can honestly recommend them. In Australia, they have a "Unconditional lifetime replacement or repair" warranty.

Awesome shooting brother, my Son (a Marine) has a very sentimental Savage 110 that he plans to get into long range shooting with. He is a much better shot than me. I saw your work video from the barrel company. We will buy the barrel for this build from your company. You're awesome. I was your 60th subscriber.

Thanks for an honest review, everyone else is fluffing it's nuts withholding the negatives. I've watch 6 videos on this scope and you're the first to mention a restricted/poor field of view in comparison to similar scope. Info like that is so helpful when deciding which scope to buy.

I have the same problem with a bushnell forge 3-24×56, ED glass, 34mm tube, 8x zoom. I'm not a fan of scopes above 18 power, but I haven't used many above 18x.

Why aren't there electric sniper scopes like a camera that allows you to zoom in and see a lot more ? is it not ideal?

Hey just saw your videos on all your tikka action builds. Now that u have builds with all these other custom actions do u feel the tikka action held u back from being as accurate as these other custom actions?Or is the tikka action just as good long as barrel trigger stock is same as what a custom action is setting in?
@WestDesertShooter2 жыл бұрын
Tikka is just as good. Heavier bolt lift and limited chassis options compared to R700
@christittle11312 жыл бұрын
@@WestDesertShooter Thanks for responding really enjoy your videos give good detail about things. Reason I was wonder bout tikka is I grew up shooting browning a-bolt then x bolt for hunting only. Reason was cause loved 60degree bolt compared 90 on rem700 just because fingers catching scope when in hurry shooting when dog hunting deer was allowed. The Curtis valor is the lift better than tikka or same worse? I originally was going get Curtis valor but the price I thought bout tikka and I tried tikka at store other day it was really smooth it was smoother than the 2020 waypoint the store had. Never felt Curtis but before thought of tikka I was debating valor or impact 737 see so many useing 737. Is valor have any feeding issues or bugs besides if bolt lift is heavier than 737? Sorry all questions I want ask any more. Thanks.

@@WestDesertShooter could you please explain the logic behind running a suppressor on most of your super long distance setups? im guessing its not just for sound since your out in the great wide open, do they somehow improve accuracy at distance?? its just something i noticed but didnt understand, thanks.

If the other scopes that you are comparing it to are 34mm tubes or shorter in over all length, then that is the difference. There really isn't a whole lot else involved as far as field of view...
@sethrich59982 жыл бұрын
That’s definitely not true. The eye piece design makes a huge difference in FOV. Burris XTR3 and March 4.5-28x both use a wide angle eye piece to get a massive FOV.

@@sethrich5998 you are right. I was assuming that he was comparing it to scopes with the same size ocular & objective lenses.
