Many of these tips also apply to racecars on road courses. If you use your body to feel the road and how the car feels you'll drive significantly better.

Cool, same here. I've done dirtbikes all my life, nothing can ever replace them. Then last year (@ 59 y.o.) I just decided to get a brand new DD2 - spec'd race kart, practice and start racing @60. I really did it as a personal challenge, to see if I'm still able to be competitive, then anyhow I got 1st place against the local 2-consecutive year champion. Karts are as different to bike, as in day and night. Dirtbikes taught me to be tough and disciplined. Good luck to you, and please put a heart rate monitor belt on (as a precaution), because the G-forces are very serious, and puts your heart muscle on high stress mode. Be safe👍

Riding on the streets has made it necessary to scan ahead for any threats and anticipating traffic and the road. You gain a sixth sense. This has been a skill that develops and naturally translates to the track where you look through the corners and can to some extent predict driver behavior. You become an overall more competent driver/rider with this forward looking vision.

oh, it works, Jason Pridmore went over how critical your head position is to getting thru a corner and without task management confusion...Good lesson is to try to enter corners with only 2 tasks and avoid more tasks from mistakes, once you turn in or even before, hit your gear position to the desired gear, under braking and shift quick braking done mostly while upright so when the bike is turned in, 2 tasks, throttle and stearing. Alberto is young and is very knowledgeable in racing. I have watched all his bike videos and 80% of his others. Good Dude to get info from...

I had this problem that I went too early into the corner...and obviously I came out too early... I noticed that when I hit my braking mark I started to look apex.. I changed that when I hit my braking point I keep looking forward, and when I want to turn then I look the apex. I found that when I did this my braking was more stable, my turning is super fast and the most important, my entry is not too early!

I was wondering if there was any way that you could make a video or videos that go into detail on reading what the bike is doing as far as breaking into corners, holding a line and corner exit and how it correlates to the bikes suspension and the adjustments that are necessary to make in order to correct potential issues.

I can only agree with this video. I've learned the importance of how and where to look riding my riding time on my motorbike. One certain moment I started looking way ahead and noticed the huge improvement in my riding skills. It smoothens the ride, it's less fatiguing, makes me more confident, I estimate the approaching corners with less effort and even the most important of all is that it avoids visual lock resulting in panics, hard braking and crashes and that's someting that's not adressed in this video. I also ski during the winter and the same looking techniques are helping me here as well for the same reasons as for riding a vehicule.
