One idea may be to show a few run killers ending runs at some point in the video. Either at the end or maybe sprinkled in as you come across the boss and talk about what happened to them before? idk might be cool.

One of my favorite weapons to rush at the beginning of the game. Start as a prophet, burst down Cleanrots with your flame incantation, and you can be rocking this thing inside an hour of starting the game if you get lucky.

Tip (personal testing): the halo scythes weapon art benefits greatly from Millicent prosthesis rotten wing insignia etc due to there not be a huge pause between the weapon hitting then the ash hitting. I actually think on radahn I know you were missing roughly 40% dmg however I think Millicent’s would be similar on kill speed to you’re build at that point with all the buffs

Right hand Winged Scythe, left hand Halo Scythe was my favorite melee build I tried out. Can two-hand the Halo to get its weapon art, and everything else gets obliterated by dual-wield jump attacks. Loved getting invaded and going from the recovery-blocking Winged weapon art into Halo spam as they ran away. Good times.

This is one of my fave weapons! I also like the spear aesthetically, but I feel like it sucks. I also was sad to find out, that these weapons do not perma kill skeletons, despite being holy, even the ash of war doesnt. I’m really glad you are doing a run with this weapon though.

Ive farmed the swamp for hours and have never found this scythe. Even used Silver feet and the silver tear scarab, nothing, its so annoying

As a guy who abused halo schythe. The two main things your missing is you stat dex instead of faith in a like A or S tier faith scaling weapon. So your damage was quite a bit lower then mine even with better buffs. Also shield squad summons is almost a must for agro mules. This way you can spam L2 uncontested and they do like 1.4k each. So you just walk in summon shield squad. The second the boss is fighting them you L2 spam away. Generally speaking it dies in a mana bar or two. Even if using summons isn't allowed, the scaling on faith matters quite a bit.

I found the scythe the day before and I had to switch to smth else. Thing has bleed, holy damage and projectile ash of war. Genuinely surprised how I had it before but never realized how strong it was with the right build. Cheers for the run :)

Id love a short vid explaining how you scale your damage so effectively. I understand buffs for the most part, but for this weapon in particular with D scaling in str and faith, and C scaling in dex, i never would have thought to go 40/40/40.

Did You know glint stone daggers make the stone golems turn on each other if you hit them about 6 to 8 times with them. I just learned about this recently.

Did you end up farming for the scythe on every attempt, or did you use Cheat Engine to spawn it in? I can't imagine how annoying it'd be to have to re-farm that every time you failed! :EDIT: Never-mind, you answered my question at 10:22 !

Crazy it has only a 2 percent drop rate I just got it the first cleanrot knight I killed on my last playthrough. Guess that was extremely lucky.

My first playthrough took me 4 hours to get this weapon as a drop did another playthrough and killed one knight trying to get a trina lily and got it also first time I was using ring and fowl foot

I used this weapon on the Draconic Tree Sentinel killed him first attempt, every previous run I've spent nearly 30+mins trying to kill this SOB 😆

Honest question. I know people can ask for a run with a specific weapon in mind. Can you also request one with armor and such? Since I feel that it could make things challenging but fun as well.

How different would the run be if you used one of the other scythes? Is the base moveset just bad for late game bosses, would having different ashes of war make a big difference?
