This week I am upcyling small thrifted items I had in my stash to keep at home in my daughter's room. She’s away at scout camp and doing these projects helped me stay connected to her while she was gone! I used DIY paint in the colors White Swan and Aviary along with Weathered Wood Liquid Patina and Big Top as a top coat. I used the IOD Paint Inlay: Trompe L'oeil Bleu. Henry!! Can’t get enough of that little face! ❤ you made really cute smalls this week. Your daughter will love it! The small trunk is adorable, but I would have to paint over that extra distressed part on top. And the musical furniture-I’m in process right now…bring in one thing and move around 3 others! 😂

Love the ladder... Good save on the color ... Paint can change anything, one just needs to keep painting until you like it... Also like the last project, the white chest with the blue inlaid is 😍, and I do not gravitate towards blue... good job again...

I love everything, but the ladder is my favorite. My daughter in-law wants me to make her one but to hang on the wall long ways for quilts between the rungs and then the rest can be used like a shelf. God bless

The ladder goes so well with the blanket and the wall color! Project 5 was a very good choice of color. As for the chest I really like that paint inlay and could not see any yellowing.
