This was a blast. I ‘ve been a fan and a follower for years, but I guess I don’t go back far enough to have seen these sessions. I’m glad I didn’t, in fact; this was surely far more interesting now that you guys are more competent pilots. Great fun; would watch again.

That Viggen was a pleasure to watch. I love Swedish aeroplanes; they have a wholly different design philosophy than the rest of the West. That Sabre was manoeuvrable, but the bloody gunsight on it is practically invisible, which would drive me mad..

So can we all finally agree that the F-15 is too tanky? By comparison, the Hornet or Viper can take one round in the wing and it snaps right in half. Meanwhile the Eagle flies with no wings and gets kills lol. Great vid btw, love the thunderdome.

Being one of the only planes on the planet with a thrust to weight ratio greater than 1. It beat the Saturn missile in time to height.

Well, considering an Israeli Eagle jockey landed his bird with one wing... sure. Kinda disappointment in CAP crashing that thing... I mean, eject - then make your way to the nearest pub... pull up to the bar and order a pint... look around at the other patrons and say, "Y'all ain't gonna believe the shit that just happened to me!"

Damn-I never cease to be impressed at the tight turn radius on those warbirds. The way Cap turned the tables on that 109 was a thing of beauty. Watching that Apache drift across the runway during Round 4 take-off was oddly surreal, and inspired some mildly hysterical laughter.

a) what was the name of that armless knight in In Search of the Holy Grail? Yeah, paint THAT GUY on Cap's vert-stabilizer. I am sure there will be no problems with copyright infringement. Amazing display of armless wing-flapping, Cap !! Two armless thumbs up !! b) I thought the video-ending landing-fiasco was going to include some form of trickery by Cap, like the Reverse Bowling Lane Incident.... You know, where Cap convinces everyone to come in for a group landing in perfect 10-pin formation, and as they touch down, Cap spawns in a giant Cow Dirigible directly in their path. Hydro(gen)-Powered Carnage for everyone !! ... sigh... I guess I now fall into that category of 'viewers who are impossible-to-entertain'
