My dad was a Pediatric Surgeon for over 40 years at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. There was a lock on lock off at the hospital when child abuse was found. I never forgot the time when I was 11. My dad came home and looked so pale. It was so out of character. My parents were going to a medical meeting/conference that night. Years later I found out what happened. A little 11 year old blond boy was rushed to ER because his dad bashed his head in w a bat. It was the surgical team that had to try to put his brains back into his skull. It was too late. I say this because ALL need to be aware of what’s going on around them instead of living in their busy minds. You can save a little life. ❤

Don't be overly concerned about breaking a family up, either. At my old apartment, my upstairs neighbor routinely screamed at his wife and daughter (alcoholic). Once, the sweet maintenance man for the complex helped me go upstairs to check on a plumbing situation and I told him about the issues. The police came out several times over the months. The husband fell down the stairs one day, bloodying my doorstep. It did not get better, but while neighbor/police involvement seemed to make it worse, I can only hope that family was broken up and received help with more haste.

Yes, they are equally responsible. It takes a community to normalize such sick behavior or to not prevent it. Every grown up person understands how vulnerable children are and that without protection they'll endure mental and physical torture and be scarred forever as a result. Protecting a child is a no-brainer and should be a top priority and an instinctive reaction to dangerous situations and emotional/physical abuse.

Cases like this make me wish you had to pass some kind of test to become a parent. Ugh these monsters didn’t deserve the blessing of a child. I can’t have children so seeing women like this have a child just to abuse them pisses me off. Idk how it is everywhere else but where I am birth control is free and tons of people give condoms out for free too so I just can’t imagine going through all the stress of having a baby just to be horrendous to it.
@hnichole

I think about this a lot too, obviously it would be so easy for people to take advantage of a parenting test as a gateway into eugenics, but still, I like to think there could be a way to test people for fit parenting. I mean, people have to go to great lengths to get drivers licenses or passports, but just anybody can have a kid, with no understanding of how to care for a child whatsoever. Maybe the solution is free, widespread parenting resources and free birth control, as you said.

@@hnichole I agree with you. Exactly correct. It would be great if we could at least sterilize known abusers or killers of children. But just like you said, then the abuse of that would come. Also I had a child as a single parent and my family ( his grandparents and uncle) and I doted on him. I watched an acquaintance 21:42 lay around on the couch, did not cook or clean and used her children like her own personal slaves. They grew up independent and self sufficient while my child is a spoiled adult that quit school, lives with his uncle and refuses to do anything. He does have some issues but we all do. I wish I had some parenting classes but I relied heavily on my family to help watch him while I worked. It’s bad parenting to go too far in the opposite direction. Then there’s tiger parenting. Most people probably don’t have the best skills. But too much government especially involving your family is scary. 🤷‍♀️

My friend was 18 when she had her daughter. She's also a Tiktok dancer and a college student, but unlike Nikki, she actually loves her daughter, who's also my god daughter. No matter the situation. Hating on the child will do nothing

The fact that she could be such a horrible monster to this little girl, then tell her partner that she wanted more children with him? It's so beyond disturbing

I feel for Dan in this situation.. it was likely very difficult to leave in the first place. I can't imagine the emotions Dan went through when he found out.

Men who are single with no children shouldn't get involved with women with children.

@@chrismorrison3375 More like women who have children should NOT get involved with single men with no children. I don't even have full custody of my daughter(who is 10). But I still have no intentions of dating for the next 8 years. I will not bring anyone into her life in that way while she is still a child(under 18).
