Why can't we trade the Kardashians in and bring back Johnny?

My wife and I saw Carol Burnett live numerous times. The stories she told about Tim Conway were extremely funny. The story about the exploding Q Tip box had the audience laughing hysterically for almost 10 minutes before she was able to continue. He was an extremely funnyman, may he rest in peace.

I love it when a guest makes Johnny genuinely crack up / laugh out loud. Tim and Johnny together is a great combo (like every time Dorf made an appearance).

Ah johnny so much miss him. No politics just a straight good funny show. This is what late night TV is suppose to be.

Because Republicans weren't such hilarious buffoons in those days. Beginning with George Bush, and then Sarah Palin, and now the greatest of all buffoons, Chump, they are just comedy gold that can't be ignored. If Chump existed in Carson's day he DEFINITELY would have done his whole monologue on him.
@ThamiumOne2 ай бұрын
No politics??? Carson's nightly monologue joked on politicians constantly. You must not have ever seen the show.

@ThamiumOne I make a n8ce comment and look at the rats coming out. Born in 60s watch Johnny all the time n my memory is crystal clear
@ThamiumOne2 ай бұрын
@@heetcrusher2880 - But you made it sound as if Carson never brought up politics, which is anything but true. It was a regular staple in his monologues. He had a field day especially during scandals, like Watergate, Iran Contra, briberies, etc. And even when there weren't big scandals going on, he joked about presidents and Congress. Even ragged on Dan Quayle the last couple of weeks before he retired. Playback almost any random monologue of his from the 70s straight through the end, and you'll hardly find one where political figures aren't mentioned. It's not that your comment wasn't nice, but it was completely inaccurate.

Sorry to have to say this but, isn't stupidity doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a difference outcome? Well Conway kept pulling that lever, releasing and wasting all of those paper towels, and nothing different even happened! He should have just asked for a pair of scissors and Cut His Lousy Tie for Crimeny Sakes! Man it sure takes all kinds!
