i tried to get dental work got a flipper.. still numb i told dentist it hooks on my cheek it dont fit right..told me next apt after 3 ..i was broke..still i have a partial i cant wear....so i admire the dentist to help her. may she be blesssed i wish i had good drs..

@@vveer1014 my guess is he meant he was also abused as a child. That’s the pain she is experiencing not the cleaner. The cleaner is a coping mechanism to deal with the pain of her childhood trauma. I sincerely doubt he meant he feels wanting to eat cleaner.

one time a drop of isopropyl alcohol got into my mouth and when i tell you i was sobbing thinking i would die or it would at least cause something bad to happen 😭 i’m fine tho

I always felt so bad for this woman. I can’t imagine having such deep-rooted trauma, feeling so unclean to the point of ingesting household cleanser just to cope. She seems to be very self-aware, which is more than what some of these people are. I hope she was able to eventually overcome this. :/

This poor woman needs support and therapy for her childhood traumas. She is so aware of what she is doing and why but she needs professional help so she can heal and move on with her life! She seems like such a lovely woman and mother. I really hope she can move on from this. If she ever sees this...much love to you and your family. Edit...also, switch cleansers! Get all of that old one out of your house! There are so many other choices out there now with beautiful fragrances!

Yes, she should definitely only clean with vinegar. This is not necesarily trauma, though. Autistic spectrum individuals exibit something called pica sometimes. That means compulsively eating things that are not foods, like sand etc. It is officially characterized as a psychological disorder, but obviously has some neurological component like ocd, because it also happens more often with schizophrenia. They are also more likely to be victims of sexual abuse. "Pica is most commonly seen in pregnant women, small children, and people who may have developmental disabilities such as autism and more. Pica can also be found in animals such as dogs and cats."

@@Gorzaza She already stated that she had been sexually abused as a young girl and felt dirty on the inside. In this particular case it is most likely the trauma she experienced as a child that was never dealt with for decades. My youngest is autistic but fortunately does not experience pica. But during her assessments that was one of the questions we were asked about! She does chew so we have to be mindful of what she is chewing for safety, but she doesn’t intentionally consume her chews. During periods of stress (school) she will chew her “chewie” vigorously and so I have to check them to make sure they are still safe for her. They really help her cope and manage stressful situations and as she gets older she doesn’t need them like she used to! Lol, I’m also a vet nurse and have seen many, many cases of pica in animals, especially dogs!

I knew this lady! She was my grandma's neighbor and did hair and nails for a living. She moved to Tulsa Oklahoma after this aired and got her teeth fixed. She used to pick me up after school. I used to see her eat cleanser in the car.

This is so common. She was made to feel dirty. And she “cleaned” herself w that cleanser. I’m glad she’s getting treatment. I wore baggie clothes to hide myself. I was 11

I absolutely love the smell of Pine Sol so I am continually cleaning throughout the day just to make my house smell like pine! I can’t smell it in the house anymore so it makes me clean more and more! I live in the UK so we don’t sell it so I would order some on EBay , spend $20 per bottle and $60 on postage!

I accidentally swallowed a little bit of cleaning powder a few weeks ago and then proceeded to force myself to throw up for like an hour because I was so scared. I can’t believe this lady WILLINGLY eats this stuff. I was completely freaking out and convinced myself that i was going to die. It was just a tiny bit of it and if I didn’t throw it up I probably would’ve been fine since it was such a small amount but in the moment I was terrified

When i was pregnant i used to smell bleach. I never ingested it but i wanted to.. I would keep a water bottle with a tiny amount of bleach by my bedside & smell it during the night when i woke up. During that time i also found out i was anemic & being pregnant was making it worse. My vitamin d levels were also superrrr low.

She most definitely ingested while pregnant…… why was she not sent to the doctor to see what damages were actually done to her. Have a test on the kids checked to see if they have any abnormalities. Not just the dentist

I used to inhale comet i would mix it with fabuloso and put it in a cloth and inhale it I WAS HIGHER than the sun. Had to stop though.

I’m pregnant & I started cleaning with it & now have noticed that I can’t stop smelling it. I’ll take baths & just have it next to me sniffing it. Been tempted to eat it but I stopped myself. I don’t know why I’m getting addicted to smelling it throughout my days 😳😳
