I seem to be telling you how to pronounce things and it's just so you know, not to be condescending, Greenwich is pronounced Gren Itch! I do like gl Pease blends, currently smoking Sixpence which is from the old London series, must give that a try, thanks brother

I’m glad you did this review. I have seen this at my local B&M, and I was considering it. It sounds good. I like an oriental forward blend. I just finished a tin of Fusiliers ration which I really like, it does have a noticeable anise topping.

The review is spot on. Your description really hits the mark. And because I was so impressed with your review and our taste seem similar, well now I am hooked. It is an all day blend, very well balanced. The balance of Latakia to Orientals work very well to provide a full flavor of the tobaccos and makes a smooth wonderful blend. It is definitely not a ribbon closer to a broken flake. This is a remarkable blend and is one of my favorite Balkan/English blends probably top 1 or 2. Like Chelsea Morning, this is a beginners introduction to Balkan/English blends.

I'm glad you rated this so high. It's one of the first blends I tried and I think back on it fondly. I have a bunch but I'm still trying new blends. To me the Latakia seemed more upfront and married to the oriental causing an amazing incense like smoke.

Greg Pease himself wrote an interesting blog post about the English blend vs. Balkan blend debate. Fascinating. I'm personally Balkan > English, but I love both. Almost apples and oranges. Not better, just different.

Thoughts on the name, I believe it represents the Meridian or middle of the day, as the Meridian represents the middle of the earth Chelsea Morning Meridian Quiet Nights They all have the same tin art, but features it at different times of day, I think the intention was to have the three fill out all times of the day. The descriptions of each also mention their respective time of day Just my .02
