New pipe smoker here, I have recently found your channel and found the pipe. I am truly enjoying not only the act but the reflection that seems so easily tied to it. As I read my books or grade my students papers, I have found that this new hobby has a lot more to offer than smoke. Thanks for your efforts to model how unique pipe smoking can be!

I am a self-employed consultant and lived for the last two weeks in a holiday apartment. I got along so well with my hosts, that they gave me the „old tobacco they don’t need anymore because they quit piping years ago“. Turned out to be two small pouches of tobacco with the seal intact - stating cost of „6 DM“, meaning the currency before 2000 rolled around. I am so excited to try them - repacked them in glass jars already and the flavor was beautiful! Can’t wait to see what such an age tastes like 😁 Fantastic video as per usual! Keep up the great work! Hiyas Wilson, a very interesting comparison. I too much prefer darker, richer Virginia's. Some fellows taste grass or hay notes in their Virginia's, I taste celery. You only have to wait 18 years for it to reach the sublime state. I wonder how a stoved version would stack up. I definitely preferred my 4 hr. @ 200°f, stoved Orlik Golden Slices over the 2hr. or "new" tin versions. A great video, thanks for sharing, Gary

Hi Wilson. I have some Chelsea Morning that I have smoked a few times and have enjoyed. This morning I smoked it(the Chelsea Morning) out of my corn cob that I've smoked out of more than my other pipes (which isn't a lot at this point) and when I did it didn't seem to taste the same and wasn't very good. Any thoughts why this may have been the case?

I really like your videos, but I feel like the background music (it has an Eastern/Asian feel to it) always throws me off and is distracting and doesn’t really correlate with the feel of the video.
