Hello Michael, I hope you’re doing great. It will be really nice of you if you can just read my message. I’ve watched the videos long before and I also have find a documentary of about 40 samples for independent writing from TOEFL resources and everything was just better back then, but now my mind is boggling. The thing is that there is a widespread assumption or attitude among former test takers, especially who got good scores on writing, to make this task like an academic thesis or a scientific manuscript, professionally written, complex sentences, no personal examples, no self reference and so forth! while all samples you’ve suggested are simple and straightforward. I don’t know how to put it, it’s more like I’m reading a written version of someone’s speaking. I spend hours digging my mind trying to write a professional essay with a wowing introduction and sophisticated reasons about a topic I don’t literally have any idea, so I turn to AI for essay samples, which I know isn’t persuasive. I just have 25 days left and I feel desperate, even weeping out of stress😅. What should I do? Is it crucial to write like a paper?!

Hi Michael, a quick question. Is it important whether I start the first task (essay) writing about the content of the reading and then refer to the lecture or vice cersa? I bought a TOEFL book. In this book they say to start writing about the lecture and then refer to the author.

Thank you, but do you think grading for reading will be a bit tough as we will have 2 passages only with 20 questions. As for the new writing section, do you think it is getting more difficult?
@Toeflresources
@Toeflresources Жыл бұрын
I think it is important to realize that every wrong answer in the reading section is much more serious now. I don't think the writing section is more difficult. With some preparation I think the new task will be about the same as the old one.

@@Toeflresources I've checked out the material on this website and they are quite informative and helpful. but I have a question: do test takes have to respond to both students in their essays? Can they just focus on the student they agree with? If this is ok, should they give some further explanations to the point the student makes or should they provide another supporting idea and elaborate on it?

Hi Michael, Could you advise if it is better to make the test on the old format or wait until July for the new format. I made many attempts and I was struggling mainly in speaker. I am a pharmacist and I need a score of 26 to pass the exam. any recommendations?

Hey michael , I saw in one of your videos that you will give free review if we like and subscribe. Also, write the essay in the comments section. Please help with tips of how to improve my essay. I tried to adhere by all your advices but I still struggle a lot. I will be very thankful.The topic was Which of the following activities do you think will be the most beneficial to the environment? (1) Commute by biking or walking (2) Recycling (3) Eating a vegan diet. Here is my essay. There is no shortage of opinion on "What steps should be taken to save our Environment". It is my firm belief that walking or travelling by bicycles would be the best. I feel this way for a number of reasons which I will explore in the following paragraphs. To begin with, If people refuse to use cars on a daily basis than this can reduce pollution by a considerable level. This means the decrease of various green house gases which otherwise were released immensely by these vehicles. Thus, reducing global warming. Additionally, these reduced gases would mean a clean environment to live for both humans and animals. Ultimately, we will become less prone to diseases which were caused due to these harmful pollutants. My personal experience is a compelling illustration of this. When I was a small child, I was diagnosed with asthma. The doctor advised me to move to a city like Chandigarh as it is considered the most clean city of my state. Adhering to his advice, I took admission in a University of that city. I benefitted a lot from my decision as this helped me cure my asthma to a great level. It would not have happened had I not moved to this city back then. Secondly, this can help spread a message to society of how important it is to save environment. This way we can encourage our friends to be a part of this great initiative. People too will want to contribute something towards the planet. For Instance, Ten months ago, my father, who is an agronomy professor in a prestigious institute, started to commute daily by his bicycle. This inspired many of his students and colleagues. The head of his department was so impressed that he made it a rule to come by bicycles on certain days of the week. This way a huge number of people came together to save environment, which would have not be possible otherwise. In conclusion, I strongly feel that the Environment can have huge benefits if majority of people start going to their offices either by walking or by a bicycle. This is because it can help reduce the detrimental pollutants released in the surroundings and protect health of people from various harmful effects. Also, bringing attention of various people towards this burning issue.

I think this one would score about 21 points. Don't use a quotation like that in the opening line. Remember that "thus, reducing global warming" is not a complete sentence. Don't capitalize "University" unless it is part of the full name of a school.
