They really found a sweet spot when it comes to price and quality. I don't think you can buy better for the money.

@@CoyleTools I have every truck brand other than cornwell. I like the gearwrench more than the ithdrs.i have a super long snap on 1/4" flex I use ans a super short handle Mac. If I had those in gearwrench I'd use them.

Thanks again. Your video's are great. You are very informative. Really like how you explain stuff without selling it. You show why the stuff is selling itself. There's a huge difference between cheap and inexpensive. You show and expain it well. If you're ever not smart enough to relocate to ohio I'd definitely like to be a stop on your route. Those are the 90 tooth compact head GW ratchets. And the heads are truly compact compared to most other 3/8 ratchets. Hard to beat that set for the price. I have it and use the stubby one frequently due to its reduced head size which is as small as most 1/4 ratchets.

I have that Astro punch and chisel set. It’s great. I beat the snot out of some of those chisels and I haven’t had any problems with them. They’re very well-made. I have no idea what they do that is so different or why, but to me knipex pliers are better than anything out there every one of their styles and types is just simply superior. At this point, I won’t buy anything else.

I have two of them one at home and one in my bag I take to jobs I’ve gotten several coworkers to buy the same set absolutely great quality they’re not as good my mayhew or wilde or dasco but very close to the same quality and they don’t fly apart like the green Pittsburgh ones

@@Booney1286 for the price you can’t beat them. I’m a big Astro pneumatic fan in general. I really like their tool offerings.

@@Booney1286 I don’t know what they do. That’s so different but their pliers are definitely a cut above every everybody else. The only thing Snapon has that knipex doesn’t have are the adjustable long nose pliers, and I happen to have a set of those which I really like.

How much is that 2 pc GW ratchet set? Is that china made? Have you noticed how terrible the poor quality of the china made GW ratchets are?

You can Google the ratchet set to see how much it costs from a retailer you can purchase it from. I don't know where it's made, probably Taiwan. I won't answer your third question, since it isn't really a question, it's a statement disguised as a question. You clearly have an issue with Gearwrench. Buy whatever brand you like.

@@CoyleTools I like GW tools & ratchets that are made in Taiwan because I have noticed a huge difference in quality with the Chineese made ones!

@@donwendling7800 I haven't seen any that are made in China. The ones I buy from my distributor are from Taiwan. Perhaps there's a different distribution channel that some companies are using.

I agree. Only Knipex for my last 10 plier purchases. I love the rubber hose removal pliers. Hose ring pliers maybe they're called? The Twin Grips are the best value you can find in a plier out there. One more thing, their cutting edges never dull out! I've warrantied my Snap-On "Vector" edge pliers more times than i can remember. Ive yet to even warranty a single Knipex tool.@jamescaron6465
