Sue didn't have to wait until the 80's to be a useful member of the team. After a lot of letters received complaining about how useless she was, in 1964 issue #22 she discovered the ability to create force fields and project her invisibility to other people and objects. So actually she was a damsel in distress "only" for 3 years, since the team was created in 1961.

Bonus fact: each of their powers and personalities of the Fantastic Four correspond to the four basic elements: Ben Grimm is the earth, Johnny Storm is fire, Sue Richards is wind and Reed Richards is the water.

They should be in Infinity War #1. Ben would distract Thanos by beating the living sh*t out of him. Then Sue would use her forcefield to channel Johnny's nova attack on Thanos and finally Reed would use an invention to scatter the infinity stones across the multiverse.

You are wrong on your characterization of the Invisible Girl. She frequently saved the other three, plus she bet up Dr Doom in FF #17 (1963).

If Marvel does get back the rights to F4, then they should turn it into a Netflix Original Series. The problem with the movies is that there isn't much time to incorporate an origin story and them fighting Doom. Unlike all of the other Marvel movies (Fox or Marvel Studios), F4 hasn't gone out to fight criminals on the streets, but rather trying to cure their powers. Therefore, the logical choice would be to make a series out of it so that we can see them being heroic and coming to terms with their powers.

Well they don’t need a cure since they’ve adapted to their powers. Except Mr. Grimm who still is pretty bummed out but I’d say over the years he loves being the strongest guy on the team.

One of my ideas for an MCU Fantastic Four is that celebrity scientist Reed Richards used to have a TV show called "Mr. Fantastic" (a bit of Mr. Wizard, a bit of Bill Nye, maybe some Mythbusters, and a big scoop of Cosmos). So he's already got the name before he and his friends go into space and get smacked by cosmic rays. But before any of this is officially announced, wouldn't it be a hoot if somebody on "Agents of SHIELD" or "Daredevil" was all "Remember on that one episode of 'Mr. Fantastic' where..." and while he/she is going on about whatever TV experiment, the rest of us are collectively going, "Wha--did--wait--she said WHAT???!!!!" And then like the next day they announce the FF's new release dates.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! LET MARVEL HAVE THE RIGHTS OF FANTASTIC FOUR BACK, so Marvel can create a proper and correct Fantastic Four film and the Fantastic Four comics can come back. This superhero family deserves better respect than those awful 20th Century Fox's Fantastic Four films.

I actually started a petition to produce and direct an all new Fantastic Four franchise. I sadly can't post the link here because it would've counted me as spam, but basically I'm this aspiring producer and I wanna give the F4 justice. I believe the first family needs to be given proper treatment and I feel like. I can do just that. But yeah, I saw this video and I got extremely excited. Absolutely love the F4.

There not in comics because Marvel is disgusted with Fox. They refuse to create more comics starring them, because if they were to do so, they would be popular again, And Fox would profit off the movies again. Marvel intentionally stopped there comics from being written so that Fox would eventually give up.

Number 8: technically Byrnes didn't give her the force field power but expanded on how her powers work. The force field deflects sunlight, thus making her invisible and she learned how to use it for other purposes.

Here's another fact for ya: Reed Richard's superpower was basically an afterthought. All Stan Lee came up with was "He's the smart one", but Jack Kirby wanted something visually interesting to draw, so Stan suggested that Reed should stretch like rubber as that was the most 'visual' superpower he could think of.

While Byrne did in fact do some amazing work on Sue, the force fields were a part of her abilities since the sixties. I wanna say Stan&Jack added them somewhere in issue twenty-something. Maybe thirty-something.

Dr. Doom's face was injured when there was a computer machinery malfunction that had exploded after Reed Richards turned down Doom's work and Reed may have left behind something that caused the explosion, which cause Doom's face disfigured.

Why does that Thing animated series seem familiar? I don't remember seeing it but at the same time something in my brain is saying "Dude you've seen it before!" Also in a way FF is coming back at least slowly. They're being added to Marvel Contest of champions game! I like what I am seeing. They're even villains that I've never heard of or remember seeing in it. I know Diablo and Annihilus so far have been added to the game. Also I really hope to see a proper adaptation of them soon. Also could you do a top 10 Fantastic Four villains video? The mere fact that I don't remember Annihilus is saying there needs to be some info on that.

Fun fact not mentioned here is that the Fantastic Four are based on the four elements of the ancient world ie air, earth, fire and water. Invisible Woman = Air Thing = Earth Human Torch = Fire and Mister Fantastic = Water

You got one thing wrong here...Byrne did not give Sue the forcefield powers. That happened long before he came onto the FF. But he did make Sue more of a powerful character.

I think the MCU version of the Fantastic Four should set in Britain and very similar to Doctor Who, here is who I would cast Matt Smith as Reed Richards/ Mr Fantastic Lily James as Sue Storm/ Invisible Woman Robert Kazinsky as Ben Grimm/ The Thing Bradley James as Johnny Storm/ Human Torch The villains of the first MCU Fantastic Four movie should be the Wizard (Sacha Baron Cohen) and the Frightful Four as they conect to The Inhumans.

In the 90s marvel were going bankrupt so they sold their movie rights like Spider-Man, the X-Men, Fantastic Four etc to Sony and Fox

Marvel went bankrupt a few decades ago and they had to sell the rights. Some of them are back now like Ghost Rider (coming to Agents of Shield) and partially Spider-Man.

there was a time when marvel wasn't set up to produce movies. this has changed now but the damage is done. but the movies were driving customers to the comic stores so it wasn't a problem

If and when Marvel get the rights back, I want Dave Franco as The Human Torch since Michael B. Jordan is in the MCU as The Black Panthers villain.

Not one mention of long time artist and co-creator Jack Kirby, without whom there would not have been a Fantastic Four!! He dud all the art from the early issues and covers featured in this video .

Despite bad movies Fantastic four are fantastic heroes with amazing comic books,I hope they get a good movie.

I love ❤️ Tim Story’s Fantastic Four movies 🎥. They were a lot better than Josh Trank’s and the 1994’s movie 🎥.

They should make a dr. doom movie with the fantastic four as side characters. The FF are cool but dr.doom is way more awesome.

Bill Murray was the Human Torch. Wasn't he also considered for the role Batman. Also I hope you're right about No 5. Though it would have been nice if the 2015 movie was good despite the cast being younger, Human Torch not Caucasian and a completely different origin story because I would have loved it if they crossed over with the X-Men. Would it have been cool if Jamie Bell's Thing went up against Deadpool's Colossus.
