Some of these options would be quite flattering on a plus sized woman or average sized woman as well but several aren't appropriate at depending on formality/religion. And their all hella expensive

The wrap style and flared circle hem dresses are flattering on many figures! The sleeveless, straight, bodycon style isn’t so much…but I feel like they aren’t very appropriate for the occasion (depending on culture or religion ofc)

Usually arms and legs should be covered even in summer. The length of the skirt should not be shorter than kneelength, underneath one should wear classic black tights to cover the skin. If you opt for a top or dress with short sleeves, wear a pashmina to cover up there as well. Shoes should not be open toed ones, they don´t need to be completely flat since a bit height on the heel increases the elegance of your appearance but be sensible about it. A kitten heel is safe to wear. People who attended royal funerals almost always wear classic pumps so this should be okay as well since it won´t get any more conservative than that. In general choose dark fabrics with solid color. No decolletage at all, cover up.

@ana Ramirez Guess what? We will all die one day, meaning at a certain point, nobody is gonna remeber your appearance! People are honestly less worried about people other then themselves, and it’s quite sad!

Skirts and dresses over the knee creep up to the fanny when you sit down,, not a good look for funerals. Mid front split showing off an awful lot of leg and even pubic hairs is a no-no. A scarf is a must, for dabbing up tears with dignity.. if needed, and it's usually tied on the handbag handle.
