Thanks for the wonderful tips. They all worked for me except the last one. I find I have to breathe out before and not after taking air. I don't know if I did something wrong but when I tried to blow out right after getting air I felt exhausted by the time I made it across the pool. It could be I am not taking in enough air when I turn to breathe The woes of a beginner swimmer. However, in the few months I have learned how to swim these videos have been so helpful.

Coach on the turn for the exhale has been my struggle only to find out I'm winded after 25m. When I try to exhale after the breath, that breath seems to get trapped in my nose as I attempt to exhale and sometimes leading to almost a burp sensation because that breath is mysteriously trapped in my throat causing to exhale out of mouth quickly. What can be done to fix this? Would love your feedback and maybe this is happening to others. Most appreciated!!

Yesterday night when my swimming coach ask me to hit the ground of the pool at the deep water ( just 2 meters ) and start crawl swim to shallow part of the pool, when I fall down and hit the ground standing on the water and start to crawling I swam for a moment but at the end of the deep side of the pool I got sunk because I have not ever been successful on breathing properly and started to panic, losing my balance, ate at least 1 liter of water, for a moment I thought I get death and this is my end of life , he came and survived me finally, but that was so horrible experience! I am 37 years old, still single I just started learning how to swim because I have not ever known anything about that and always think one day I will be a father of a family so what happened to my child if he or she faces this danger to be drowned and I could not help! actually, I felt ashamed to talk about this experience to other because they ridiculed me even my intimate friends or my coach. - thanks for allocating time and read my experience please be careful

I’ve been practicing for triathlon for about 1 year. It’s been so frustrating. I inhale, exhale continually while my face is in the water but keep still feel out of breath. My heart rate is low so I know it’s Co2 but I don’t know how to correct it. It makes me want to quit.

I completely understand your frustration of constantly feeling out of breath when swimming. As annoying as it is, there is a solution. Working with hundreds of clients this is the #1 problem many people go through but it is amazing to see their breakthroughs. It can either be one or more reasons why you feel out of breath. All of these habits trigger the fight or flight response. These habits include: kicking too hard, aggressively holding your air back, low body line, and shallow breathing versus diaphragmatic breathing to name a few. There is a way to systematically shut this off. So don't give up, it is totally normal what you are going through. You just need to right instruction and guidance. ✅ Here are a couple of quick tip videos related to this subject below: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nMWXrJOKz93Ddac.html kzfaq.infoSidML29whJk?feature=share I do have something launching this year you will love. Be sure to stay connected and I look forward to reading your progress! -Coach Mandy

Hi there! I understand that freestyle can be challenging, but don't give up just yet! These tips are helpful, but if you're really struggling with freestyle, it's important to go back to the basics and build a solid foundation through a systematic process of drills. This will help you become more stable in the water and improve your overall technique. The SWIMVICE freestyle program offers a great resource for those looking to improve their freestyle. Additionally, keep in mind that breathing is a complex skill that takes time to develop. So don't be too hard on yourself if you're struggling with it right now. With consistent practice and dedication, you can make progress and eventually master freestyle. You can read more details of the SWIMVICE Kickstart program here: swimvice.com/ 🙏 Don't give up, keep at it! Best, Coach Mandy
