I'd always take +4 defensive awareness as thats +40 then minus off that plus 4 and you have more points to put into passing or offensive awareness... kind of a min max thing

Hear me out. If you’re a center try 6’2 214 pound Grinder with No contest Zone Ability, Unstoppable force and Truculence superstar abilities. Use d awareness and power skating as the boosts. 87 speed. Great strength. All around great defensive build with good passing and no contest gets me so many goals around the net.

Sounds like that could be a really good 6s build. Do you use it for only 3s or also 6s?

@@HackAttack34 I use it for both. I play with guys on the wings that are def more scorers than anything else so it’s a super nice defensive build that also can possess the puck really well. Good size, 87 speed is more than enough especially if it’s 6’s. I usually take off truculence and substitute elite edges when I play 3s since there’s more open ice.

I haven’t played since 21 and I’m getting back into it man has this game changed everyone uses bigger builds don’t see 5’7 anymore and after using 5’7 I see why I’m gunna give the sniper build ago im really struggling nice video bro

how to shoot onetimer in eashl? L2+RS up? Only rs up?

Yeah just rs will do it if you're facing the puck. Otherwise hold L2 down to stay square and then rs with the pass comes. When you're getting set, I would flick the rs several times when anticipating a pass to ensure your player reacts and takes the shot.

@@dylanpowers4707 if you're brand new to the series, then it will be very tough for a while. It's a marathon, not a sprint. For gameplay, get the basics down (passing, skating, pokechecking, etc...) as well as fundamentals. Do what you see others doing and continue to improve with each game. As far as the builds go, since you're a low level you won't be able to create the builds exactly until you reach the required level for the skills. But that's fine. Take what you can get and try out each skill and see what works best for you and go from there. Hope this helps.

Hey man I normally do not comment on videos, but I just wanted to let you know acceleration is broken in this game. You honestly only need 83 - speed matters and so does agility, but you can put more points into your accuracies, puck control, and endurance instead. Having that extra 160-250 stat points make a big difference.

I used to think the same thing at the beginning. But with each tuner update, it seemed as though acceleration mattered again. I first noticed it back in December when I was back skating while playing defense. With a low acceleration, it took awhile to get moving and with it high, I moved rather quickly. As far as skating forward, it probably doesn't matter as much but for defense I think it does. When was the last time you tested it? I'll test it out soon and find out.

This video came out before I tested it. Had a comment on it where acceleration didn't matter so that was the point of the livestream. To test whether or not it made a difference. I'll update it next time. Plus I even mentioned to not completely copy the builds unless you had no idea where to start. You are able to tweak each build the way you want.
