In residency you get 60,000$ per year and after completing it you become board certified physician and can practise with making like 250k$ upto even 500k$ as it depends on the speciality. And he said that right the US students have to do 4 years of bachelor's degree with taking the pre med class and then they spend so much for preparing for the MCAT and then also 3 out of 10 students who apply get acceptance and the med school in total of 4 years costs them like 250k$ to even 300k$ plus... so its better you know, knowing the privilege that we get we should use it and strive hard as they us med students have to strive hard to get into med school and pay that hefty student loan of 250k$ and if in your case you would be making the same and moreover they will make same but will spend it to repay there student lone debt with interest so its a lot of them too

You know tbh , completing mbbs from a fully private insti would be about 50 lakhs at minimum. A PG from a private insti you would have to play at least 60 lakhs from a mediocre insti if you forget the good gmc's on am average that's 80 lakhs for your PG. if you are a good doctor with enough clinical exp. It will actually cost you less to complete USMLE than complete PG in India.

Hey, thanks for the video. So my university has only 1 month of elective, and it is in the final year(intern year). You say you would need 3 electives, what should I do, any suggestion?

The best way to segregate the real test takers vs the " de ke dekh lete hai " is to just tell them the cost and my own decision to take the test is getting shaky with each word . Damn the stats are a gut punch to IMG's ( best video on this topic hands down )

not really if you have stellar scores and research, but why leave a part of your application lacking when you are spending such a big amount.

Hi manik In your first video, you suggested that kaplan is one of the best resources to build basics. I searched for kaplan but couldn't find lecture subscription on there site. Can you plz guide what kaplan medium were you talking about? (e.g boards and beyond comes in lectures form. In what form is kaplan available and which form did you use??) And huge congrats for clearing step 2 ck in flying colors ❤️❤️🔥.

Just when I start dreaming abt New York, then suddenly I find out my college is not recognised by World Directory of Medical Schools , this feeling hits hard 😭😭😭 PS: I know I won't be able to make it there even if I can give the exam, but still that was my motivation, my dream 💔💔💔
