Smart financing is to always use the banks money, silly to put out all that cash unless you have enough to buy two of them outright. Always save cash for investment purposes not depreciating assets.

Remove the rear seat head rest and it gives you more space on the floor when your sleeping back there for storing your bags

I was actually feeling nervous for you about that as I watched the video. It's amazing how sometimes a private seller will back out of a sale, for whatever reason. This guy seemed more respectable than that, tho.

Was a beautiful truck! I was eyeballing it outside before we talked. Was not the lift pump on my truck. It was the fuel rail pressure regulator. But we’re up and going again. Safe travels.!

The limited RAMs have saddle leather, use a boot oil for leather treatment regular leather conditioners have been known to make the leather look ashy/turn slightly white. I use Apache Cream liquid which came in a black bottle.

yes. My mega cab long bed is a little over 25 feet on its own, so it and a 40' trailer would for sure be over 60'

@@bluebird5100 our delivery trucks are bone stock but every 6 months they require an intensive dot inspection checking everything. Doing a half ass home shop would never get cleared. Second part I question is I have a feeling the truck was rear ended previously and this was the fix.

same here, i don't do seat belts when just pulling around places in slow speeds, some times they even locking up preventing me from turning around, got rid of chime on both work and personal trucks, it still shows seat belt light or Ram has the graphic in gauge display to remind me for road driving

That leather is heavy. It adds weight which reduces your load limits.

I don't think that truck was made on the Dodge line Alex. I've heard private companies stretch the frames and put the long bed on.....Hopefully it was done right.....

You can get chassis cab 3500s with a longer wheel base then add on the bed aftermarket.

Don’t think you can by a Mega can Chassis Truck. All mega can long wheel base trucks were done aftermarket. Dodge did build a 5500 “long hauler “ prototype but never a production version.

Richard you are right the truck is not a factory build. Dillon you can't get a cab and chassis long wheel base and mega cab and ad a long box, the frame in cab and chassis is different then a pickup. Long bed my truck is most likely the company that modified that truck as they build most of them

For a plain stock 3500 Limited Mega long bed, ya $57k is nuts for a truck in reality is now 6 model years old. But the added suspension upgrades might justify the the price paid. Right off the bat, the Rams have weak front suspensions. The whole spindle assemblies are pron to fail, they eat brakes, steering boxes, turbo's and rear ends have always been suspect.

A leveling kit will not aid you when pulling a trailer. You want the truck to have a slight rake so when you load the rear axle the truck will sit level. I was never a fan of the air lift air bags. They are built to assist the stock suspension not take the entire load. In order for your truck to ride level because of the leveling kit most of the load will be on the aftermarket air bag system not the stock leaf suspention.

Alex you do realize that you took over 200k of loans in last month or so? Loans on a equipment that will mostly have to be replaced in 2 years or less. That means you have to be paying 8-10k a month in payments just to keep up with depreciation. Also realize once you equipment starts breaking (most) of your drivers will not go to extend you would go to fix it themselves. They will call towing to the nearest shop and you get stuck with a bills. Btw. Nice truck... but you overpaid (both for what it is and what you need).

ran into the same issues this year needed to buy a new truck and none out there. Bought mine straight off the train in Denver Colorado Through Weld county garage out of Greeley Colorado. I got the 2020 duramax crew cab long box 4x4 gmc 2500. Love the thing she is a beast. Quiet and smooth ride

Will the extra length make you too long with the 40’ trailer. South Georgia Hotshot wasn’t able to use his trailer after stretching the frame so I wander if dot will allow the truck to be used. Nice ride though.

@@jamescota8137 I just priced a 2021 F350 dually crew, 6.7. 355 or 410 rear XLT GN& 5th prep.....$62k before “incentives” Not as fancy, but brand new. 3 month delivery date. There are not many full size dually crew cabs new on dealers lots. He offered to look. But I just wanted $$$ info for now. I have build sheet right here.

Let me guess, you wasted your money on a extended warranty that only lasts a year because most hotshots run 100,000 miles a year. Most major break downs are after 150,000 miles. 13'-18' aisin rams are great trucks. I wouldn't buy a new ram or ford. Tp got a awesome deal.

If the bed had to be changed the truck must have been crashed, thats why the paint looks so good it must have just been painted.

Not necessarily. It would look rather strange to stretch the frame and put short bed back on. I just hope quality job. Odds are custom hitch packages will NOT just bolt in. ;(

@@TP-xi7ri he said seller did the work, using a kit. (It’s in responses from Alex). I don’t know Dodge info. But Alex said it’s stretched. Dodge need plenty room to turn normally. This will redesign the fence around his property.

I wasn’t expecting a restaurant tour of Franklin TN. Congratulations on your new truck. It will be interesting to see how your numbers work out with this truck compared to your Enterprise rentals. That sunroof seems to cut into your headroom.

I wonder if the completely redone suspension plays a factor in the cost? Not sure what it costs but I know it's expensive!

Depends on what a person wants as to what they're willing to pay. I've got a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 5.9CTD QC 4x4 sitting in my driveway with only 8,200 miles on it and recently got an unsolicited offer of 40k for it.
