I grew up with the Jake/Bull Mountain trail systems and just following game trails in North Georgia. That was 15 years ago, and I've been gone for so long I've forgotten how insanely cool it is to blast through mountain laurel thickets like this. Seeing the way Jeff tackles these super technical switchbacks and all the downed trees really makes me want to get back there and get back to practicing the basics. Thanks for the great video!

@@JeffKendallWeed A burl is made up of a tree's bud tissue that has not sprouted into foliage or grown into a twig. As a burl grows, it incorporates the tree's undeveloped buds that surround it and folds them into its expanding form.

@@JeffKendallWeed Like Jeremy says it's a burl, but it gets cooler. They're caused by a type of bacteria called Agrobacterium that splices it's own DNA into the tree's DNA. The bacteria's DNA instructs the tree to grow this giant tumor that provides a nice home for the bacteria to flourish.

Looks like fun! Now I see the value of knowing how to Manual at around 22:00. I still don't know how after all these years but it's not important to me for my riding purposes since I'm an 'Average Joe' rider. However, I do know how to bunny hop and use it extensively in my riding and has kept me out of trouble, I use it to hop over ruts, roots, etc. I always try to practice on all sorts of obstacles so when I'm at speed I'm confident with dealing with whatever is in my path. JKW really loves his Ripmo AF! Seems like he's been riding that bike the most consistently. I been considering getting one as a backup to my V1 as I see many great deals online.

Hey Nicholas, I did a review video of the TTX air and the RXF fork each, they are on my channel. I prefer their damping architecture over Fox, but I do prefer Fox's spring in general (with the fork). If the TTX air wasn't so expensive, Id get a couple more for my Ibis bikes!

Definitely a millipede. Millipedes have round bodies, with their legs underneath them and move relatively slow. Centipedes have flatter bodies and their legs are on the side of their bodies , are much faster, and tend to be aggressive, and sometimes venomous
