I know this is an old comment, but if this is some kind of dig against anyone in the video, keep in mind that its ridiculously hard to play pro-football, especially if they're walking on which it seems like they were. Having one player make it is excellent, relatively speaking.

Coach, is there a reason for the "higher" reps for the upper-body plyometric and medicine ball exercises? Please correct me if I am wrong, but, aren't explosive exercises meant to be done for low-reps?

@griff2213 Because these are no Olympic Lifters. The gym "California Strength" caters to many athletes. Those featured in this video are doing dynamic exercises which correlate to specific football strength.

I run the same as them, same amount of sound and im fast so i don't see the problem in how they're running. Also, i saw someone say "you don't have to be smart to make it to the NFL" Well your right, but you have to be smart to stay. Lastly, these guys didnt "make it to the NFL" it's training for tryouts, its litterally the title so i don't see how people could mistake that. Ight bye

Maurice Long if there training explosiveness/speed the optimal way if achieving speed is actually not doing full rom.. speed is acceleration x force and since you can generate more acceleration and force by only going about half way down in some exercises. .. think about it: do you jump higher from a 90degree squat position or if you just bend your knees slightly ?

***** First off, that wasn't a racist comment that +hahahaa made. I suggest that you look up the defintion of racism before you make the charge. Secondly, you clearly haven't seen how hard we Black people diss and razz other Black people. +hahahaa was BEING RESPECTFUL compared to the kind of verbal nuclear warfare WHICH IS THE NORM for us Black people lighting into each other during competition. And none of it is personal. It's all understood to be stuff that happens when competitive alpha types get together and compete.
@ATACXGYMCAPOEIRA
@ATACXGYMCAPOEIRA 9 жыл бұрын
***** First, thank you very much for your response, sir. Secondly, I would again caution you NOT to conflate "prejudice" with "racism"...which is what your comment here does: "....No sir, It is not JUST to be racist towards blacks, people nowadays only complain about racism towards blacks because it has been the worst in recent years. However, you can be racist to whites, Asians, and Mexicans, Yes you can. .."--***** does. Racism, sir, is a multipronged beast. There is directracism: dictionary.reference.com/browse/racism And Institutional Racism: academic.udayton.edu/race/2008electionandracism/raceandracism/racism02.htm 1. Racism is the belief that another group is inferior AND one's own group is superior purely by racial identification alone. Being "Asian" is NOT a racial designation, it's a LOCATION designation. And being Mexican is a NATIONAL designation, not a RACIAL designation. These matters, then are not RACIAL matters, they are matters of PREJUDICE AND BIGOTRY. 2. Racism ALSO is the enshrinement within every single institution of a given society the racial prejudices of the group or groups in power. This means that racism operates on a SOCIETY WIDE LEVEL whereas racial PREJUDICE or racial BIGOTRY operates on a INDIVIDUAL or SMALLER GROUP basis. In the USA, the group which has been the most dominant insofar as power in society is concerned are White males. This group has specified that Black people and especially Black males are to bear the brunt of every calamity that the institutions of the USA [ employment education health care military police environmental factors any and every form of advancement opportunity etc ] can throw at us. This has been the case since prior to the days of slavery. For that specific reason...that we alone are singled out for this kind of nationwide, society wide injustice based purely upon our skin color and racial affiliation...Black people and ONLY Black people face NATIONWIDE RACISM. 3. White people NEVER face racism. White people...on extremely rare occasions...MAY be subjected to the rare form of racial, ethnic, gender, religious or sexual orientation PREJUDICE. And other kinds, like prejudice vs national origin. But they literally never face racism. Never ever. Whites literally never ever face the combined powers of an entire society disproportionately skewing your wealth into the hands of your oppressors, they never face the combined powers of an entire country aimed specifically at their group with the avowed purpose of giving them the worst of everything bad and the least of everything good. Only we African-Americans aka Black people are treated this way. And this has not been a RECENT development. Please don't conflate RECENT NATIONAL COVERAGE of events which are literally day-to-day occurrences for Black people with recent sporadic deaths and other blatant injustices that we Blacks face. 4. This is why people of good will who look upon each other and themselves as human beings first and foremost must be aware of the insidious nature of the beast we face and be prepared to go long and hard to battle its ills. The genuine destruction of racism in the USA will herald a massive sea change in day to day life, and it will be a shocker for White people at first...but the result will be massively better for EVERYONE. Simply look at the historical proof provided by Reconstruction and the first years of The French Revolution against "the aristocrats of the skin". Everyone prospered. And this is something that the Top 5% who hate EVERYONE who is not in their group simply cannot abide. They want the 95% of us on Earth--regardless of race gender national origin economic class etc--to exist to empower them and to serve them. They are our genuine enemies. They will go to literally every extreme to brtualize terrorize and control us. For they realize that should we unite and persist? We will overwhelm them and bring a truly Human Society to the fore. As my African ancestors did in Ptah-Seti [ Ethiopia ] and Ptahmerrian [ Egypt ].
