I’ve had migraines since I was 8 years old, I’ve done this for years. Most helpful for relief from horrible pain from migraines is eating something very cold(ice cream, ice pops) I think it numbs the nerves on the roof of your mouth, the sinus nerves or something 🤷🏼♀️

I have a friend who suffers from severe pain in the trigeminal nerve in the face. Can you prescribe a treatment for me?
@stonkeykong28794 ай бұрын
It may be that your friend suffers from something called “cluster headaches”. I suffer from them. They are the most brutal kind of headaches you can get. The best treatment that works for me is oxygen treatment and preventative medication. They need to get an oxygen prescription, with a 25 litres per minute regulator, with a non re-breathable mask. Whenever they feel the attack creeping up, they need to immediately take the oxygen at full flow until the attack gets aborted. This works 90% of the time. They also need to take a preventative medication when their cluster season is about to start. I take verapamil and it works really well, but the oxygen is the best. Changed my life.

Been facing pressure and stiffness near nose and eyebrow on right side, also having a feeling of stiffness and numbness on right side of upper jaw, not getting what actually is causing this issue. Have badly affected my cognitive ability also

What if it’s been 3 days 😭 of pressure pain and it feels like it’s right above my eye but to left of my right eye . Above my nose but to the right like right where the fat part of my eyebrow ends the inside of my right eye idk but yes exactly where you put your finger the first time .. fml 🤦🏻 it’s throbbing and won’t go away and it’s has been 3 days maybe even longer now that I’m paying attention to it .. at first i didn’t think about it but now it’s going on consecutive days and I’m getting concerned what should I do.? because these exercises work but they don’t go away it’s just temporary relief then it goes right back to hurting. every time my heart beats it’s like punching me in the face from the inside.. 😅 but ya .. any good tips for the future?? If it goes away 😂 .. and right now why not I might go to the ER , 🤷🏻 if it gets worse I will .

Funny how we have to be told to touch and like ourselves to feel better. I thought most people knew how to massage their face and if it didn’t help then you’re just outa luck. It’s not like some people just don’t know how to heal a headache right? I’d hope we had all tried this if we were experiencing long term head aches.

Hello, would I massage the area on my temple, or if it’s caused potentially by a tooth (that area instead)? Much appreciated.
@drchristianamarron Жыл бұрын
The temple can help but that's a little higher than where the trigeminal nerve exits. I would recommend if the pain is coming from a tooth to seek a dentist because that type of pain can lead to a lot more pain and discomfort.

Try 10x's counter/10x's clockwise and I would do it 3x's/day for now. If you need to do it more and you can, it's helpful.

Essentially when you have Trigeminal Neuralgia and it is simply not responding to different types of medications you will try just about anything . There is simply no known cure that works for everyone that has been diagnosed with TN and it’s various subtypes across the board. Including the usage of the latest surgeries. I try to learn all sorts of coping mechanisms by way of prescribed medication, massage, FL-41 Migraine Glasses, heating pad, if it’s a 9/10 I’m at the ER and unfortunately that can also be a nightmare for me unless the hospital you go to has your medical personal history if not bring documentation if possible. I’ve unfortunately butted heads with many ER doctors. I am under the care of 4 sub-types of neurologists and thank God when the condition eases up or for me goes into a type of remission.

Can a deviated septum press against the trimegial nerve?

@@drchristianamarron the septum is pressing against my nerve, I can’t sleep and suffer from constant fright, flight and freeze. I also suffer from cognitive decline. Thank you for answering my question!
@drchristianamarron Жыл бұрын
@@DollysParadise You're very welcome. I am so sorry to hear this. I would see if you can find a specialist who can help with the deviated septum to help with this. I believe this could possibly help cognitive decline as well due to the oxygen consumption/blood brain barrier depending on the causation of your cognitive decline.
@DollysParadise Жыл бұрын
@@drchristianamarron I found one and less than 30 seconds he said you have a severe deviated septum. He asked could I breath and I told him yes. He said you cannot breath. I did not relate my very dangerous symptoms to not being able to breath. Once I took the medicine, I could clearly feel on my right side I shake when laying down. On the left side my mouth goes numb.
