Tonight was a pretty good one for Democrats, as they won many of the races that were expected to be competitive. I think the past few election cycles have shown that if there was one good thing Donald Trump did as President, it was motivate more people to go out and vote. Voter turnout has still been strong recently but nowhere near where it was when Donald himself was on the ballot

I met Patrick in Daytona Beach in 2009. I thought I knew him from somewhere but couldn't place him. I asked him if he went to my university in Daytona, he said no. I said "you seem familiar somehow". He smiled and walked away. I got a picture with him later that night after my tv watching friends instantly recognised him.
