The Tumbler has a nice weight to it, I forgot to mention in the video. It feels very solid in use. The Tumbler system is pretty intuitive to use. There are a few short comings, and I touch base with some of these, in the video. Many kitchen knives, in today's homes, have been in use for years. In that time, I think, most go unsharpened. This leads to severely damaged, flat edges. That amounts to a lot of grinding. With having more grit options, this could be mitigated easily. Making several tumblers, with different grits, would be an ideal scenario. Perhaps an extra coarse/coarse, and fine/extra fine. Add that along with the steel, and a leather disc tumbler. This could be a 3 piece set, or even make it modular, so the discs can be changed. Many options to think about, and brainstorm. I am also curious how well it will work, against a hollow ground knife. I have not tried it so far, but I expect like many clamping systems, this is going be a problem. As it is, for someone who can not sharpen, and is just looking to get an edge on a knife, the product will accomplish it. Just know the basics of knife sharpening (developing a burr across the entire edge, before switching sides) and you will not have any difficulties.
