Btw..re the roaches..the first year we were here the place was infested..Youre right, it has nothing to do with not being clean..Our apartment had just been stripped out and repainted with new wet areas and flooring..I was determined to not use poison until one night, middle summer heatwave, laying on the bed unclothed, reading a book..a cocky walking on the ceiling launched itself and landed on my chest..I swear I leapt out of bed and down the stairs in one movement..next day I bought baits, cat friendly indoor surface spray and heavy duty outdoor surface spray..put baits at the back of kitchen/laundry/bathroom cupboards, took off all drain covers and sprayed inside drainpipes, sprayed the wall behind the fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer, then sprayed around all doorways and windows inside and out..Over the next few months we kept finding them, but they were either super drugged out or laying on their backs..Eventually we stopped seeing them and they havnt been back..Thank goodness..I did have nightmares about them for a long time, though, they really give me the creeps! 😬😳😫

It has a very bohemian feeling, I love it! Be careful, roaches can aggravate breathing problems. My doc has a whole slew of patients with asthma, many of whom live in cockroach infested areas, they're tough to get rid of.

I'm not sure how I happened across your video but I'm so glad I did! I ❤️ your home so much. It's quirky, cozy and fun. I am amazed that you can keep your kitties off of the kitchen counters. Mine do what they want wherever they want to do it. I have tried shooing them, bribing them, putting them down myself for them to just jump right back up there. I gave up.
