Fahad Amri would you say this is the best sennheiser has to offer ? I have the RS 170 had it for 5 years but it recently died on me time it was time for a upgrade anyways

I have the Sennheiser RS 180 which I love but often on films I found the voices "fighting" the background music so I bought after saving a long time the RS 195 which are very good for films but for music also BUT, from1 (low) to 20 (highest) the highest sound level I can reach is like 9 out of 20. With the RS 180 I put them on 14 for a very high level of sound and have 6 levels yet to go if I want damaged ears. I didn't pay $450 for a way to hear greaat music sound with no vitality. Any ideas?

I cant seem to get anything on mine. I want to use Netflix which goes to tv by wifi. should it work.

Yes, it's possible to connect the RS 195 to your android phone using the 3.5mm audio cable, but do bear in mind that the RS 195 is not a portable unit.

Better late than never and I am no expert but: No. Your TV probably won't allow multile outputs at the same time, so it's either the internal TV speakers or a plugged in Headphone, either via audio jack, cinch or optical cable. Might be wrong but I guess that's common for most modern TVs nowadays.

We can mute the TV or turn it down low and still use the headphones. This is what we do when my husband goes to bed. I listen on into the night. When we are watching TV together I use the headphones, helps with my hearing, my husband listens to the sound from the TV. I would need it too loud for him to be comfortable so the headphones are perfect. The Sennheiser bit is plugged in to the Optical output. On my computer it is different, I have to choose headphones or speakers, can't have both, but that is fine.

I just bought RS 195 and connected it to my computer via optical cable. Sounds nice, but volume is low even when everything is maxed out. Disappointed =(

bit late here, but you need to unlock the limiter, press and hold the mode/level button on the transmitter, it will blink to either turn on or off the limiter, enjoy! super headphones, you will see the 2 green leds blink, you can only unlock the limiter from the transmitter

Never buying wifi headphones again. Whenever there's something very loud the limiter kicks in reducing volume drastically, then it takes up to a minute to return to previous level.

I've done all of those things and nothing is coming through the head phones . Yes they are on I'm highly dissapointed in these with the ridiculous price tag attached I thought what could go wrong well they don't fucking work !!!

Aleman Moyano Also remember that you don't get into a system like this without using a good DAC (like the Creative Labs X7) if you are on a computer, or a good receaver if you are on a TV set. So the real price required for a system like this goes way beyond the $450 you pay for it. The DAC I mention cost about $400 USD while a decent entry level receiver for your TV would cost roughly about the same.

Press the mode button for 2 seconds, Speech and Listening Modes turns off and then you will have a reasonable audio experience using the pure audio signal from your audio device. The digital processing of Speech and Listening Modes sounds awful and turn noise suppression on and gets even worse. A little disappointed with this product after spending so much.

For anyone reading these comments, these people have no idea how to use technology. These get just as loud as any other pair of headphones. I have no clue how this many people have that issue.

It's these damn boomers, man. Most of them are utterly inept when it comes to technology. My mother has read thousands of books and still can't operate more than 5 buttons on a TV remote. People really spend 500$ on headphones and can't be bothered to spend 10 mins researching how they operate.

These get louder than my older pair of rs 165's. aka VERY loud. I think if you have it in one of the modes you cant crank the volume.

WRONG. These can get pretty damn loud. You probably have hearing aid mode enabled. Just hold the "mode" button on the headphones themselves until the hearing aid mode is disabled.

@@nicknolte8671 agree, all these folks dont know there is a limiter you can enable/disable, to get the limiter removed for while the listening mode is on, press and hold the mode/level button on transmitter, the 2 leds will blink green, this will unlock the limiter while the listening modes are on, you cannot remove the limiter for listening modes from the headset alone, must be done on the transmitter, you can however remove the limiter for non-listening modes from the headset by holding the mode button on them. bit confusing but there ya go

No volume! or rather CONTROLLED. I'm fairly hard of hearing and rely on more volume. This unit CONTROLS THE VOLUME! The highest volume is only HALF of what you would get with a simply corded headphone connected to your amp. For this amount of money this is UNACCEPTABLE!!

the volume on these headphones is adjustable, and very well!it's pretty good.the headphones have four stages of signal selection adjustment.maximum volume when the alarm trigger is off!

You probably have the hearing aid mode enable (either by itself, or in tandem with music or dialogue option). To get full volume just hold "mode" button on the headphones themselves, the base unit won't show anything then. Just be careful, because you'll probably experience hearing loss if you listen at full volume, but that's alright, because you already have headphones with a hearing aid feature.
