Holding onto my Catholic faith and mostly conservative views (I agree with the left on environmental and social issues) has resulted in me being called a 'disgrace to our people' by the LGBT community and rejected by my college's LGBT social group. It's not east holding onto ones beliefs even when you come to the realization of being gay, and I highly respect these two men.

it is refreshing to see people who have such strong faith. No matter who you are or what you do, you are always welcome at the Catholic church. If you are doing well or if you are struggling, you still need Jesus in your life. You are better with the church than without it. Jesus loves you, and so do I.

I stay for the time being because the Church works for me on the pastoral level. I have a great parish. But I am 69 years, and I owe it to my community to renounce the Church before my death, unless the intrinsically disordered Church is finally reformed and issues an apology.

No sir this faith of ours is not be changed by the world, but to change the world. You have the same obligation to chastity that hetrosexual folks have.
