What are the different types of speeches?
Oral communication is the functional exchange of ideas and thoughts that aims to be interactive.
It requires the mastery of both listening and speaking skills.
Mastering speaking skills includes knowing what type of speech one should use in order to fit the type of scenario one is going to speak at.
There are at least 3 types of speeches according to purpose and 4 types according to delivery.
In this video, we will talk about each of these types of speeches, their strengths and limitations, as well as give some examples.
