My mother was born in January as well. I love every color of garnet; they are truly the rainbow of gems in my opinion but honestly I love every gemstone and semi precious ones too.

Beautiful. I am sorry to hear of your Dad’s assassination. One of my best friends lived in Tanzania for years and it was getting dangerous then, in 2005/6/7/8. My heartfelt condolences. Gorgeous stones and very fascinating story. Thank you so much for sharing.

What do you think about making a video about how Quarts can have inclusions or associations of many different minerals? It seems because of Quartz's chemical formula of Silicon Dioxide, it can either be associated or have inclusions of over a hundred different minerals like Rutile, Dumortierite, Hematite, Gold, Conichalcite, and so on.

I'd never heard of green garnet before a couple of days ago. I live near an area called Garnet Hill in Calaveras county. I found the most amazing gorgeous green crystal like rocks in my backyard. Found out they are tsavorite garnets. The color is just stunning. There is nothing like it

If I remember correctly, Dr. Campbell Bridges was killed because of this gemstone. They named it Tsavorite after a national park in Kenya.

That is a very smart move on their part to keep based in Africa where they find this. Process it in Africa, not sending it off to have all this done in other places. That way there are people there learning this trade and the value of the land itself. But the fact it is that damn violent there to the point where his father was murdered and his family basically can't live there is wild.

But how do you really know if you're the first to discover a mineral? There could have been someone who found it decades to millennia before, and it wouldn't have been recorded.

If this beautiful woman would have been dressed a certain way all of these videos would have went viral asap!!!!!!! And that's sad!!!!!! Her being a gemologist gives her different perspective than the general public on what exactly qualifies for beauty!!!!!! And like with very rare gemstones! her unbelievable natural beauty is not going to always be noticed by everyone but she is truly gorgeous she really reminds me of Snow White take off the glasses pull the hair back look at those big pretty eyes and her slim but still healthy figure!!!!!!!!! She's a gem all on her own!!!!!!!!
