Is that purple tint when the tv is off happen when the tv is on? So if there’s a black scene in a movie will you still see that tint or is just when the tv is off?

Only when the TV is off. And only when the TV is next to another TV that’s darker. When alone on the stand, you don’t notice the tint.

I prefer the A95L over the Z9K. It is an all around better TV.

@@IntotheFurther. I guess my biggest question is, what is the brightness like? And do you experience dimming when watching sports/playing games for extended periods of time? I can't play gran Turismo or Madden on my a90j. It always dims down. And the full field brightness is just not great. I guess I'm curious how oleds have progressed

Of course the Z9K is a much brighter TV. That thing is a light cannon. But the A95L is the brightest Sony OLED I’ve ever seen. So while it’s not Z9K level, for an OLED it is outstanding. Especially the color brightness. As far as dimming goes, it hasn’t been noticeable to me. I’m sure it’s there, but it’s not extreme like years passed.

@@IntotheFurther. good to know. Thank you for responding. It means a lot having people like you to answer questions! I own an x930e and I miss how bright that thing is. I saw the a95l at Best buy, and while it looks stellar, I really do miss that light cannon look. Maybe it's just me, but the brightness contributes more to realism for me. Would you say the z9k still has great black levels all in all? After hearing about the x95l being sensational, I figure I should ask.

Yes indeed that brightness does add to the realism factor. I personally would go for the X95L over the Z9K. The new XR clear image feature is excellent and the Z doesn’t have it. Plus the X95L has better blooming control

How did you get the tv out of the box? Is it a one person job?

Just lift the box up over the TV. It’s pretty easy. And the TV isn’t that heavy. I always set my TVs up myself.

It is an overall better TV than the Z9K. And the best TV I’ve ever owned personally.

@@IntotheFurther. Hey, love your videos! We have similar tastes in televisions. So I am in this exact conundrum right now. I recently purchased a Z9K and still have a Z9J. I almost like the Z9J better than the Z9K. I'm thinking about exchanging the Z9K for a A95L. What is your opinion on that? Do you prefer the A95L over the Z9K?

@@IntotheFurther. So you're saying exchange the Z9K for the A95L. I am working with a guy at Best Buy and he said as soon as he can find me a A95L we can do the exchange but there is going to be a wait because I guess Best Buy is out of them.
