Yes, typically the Nampa Subdivision can see 15 to 20 trains in a 24 hour period.

you don't know? Reverse is the steepest grade on the OSL 2.5% and there's another reason. Clover Creek Bridge west of Gooding where the Clover Creek, Wood River, and Little Wood River merge together to form the Malad is out and Union Pacific is currently repairing it. there is no way that you can take a 450 ton steam locomotive across that bridge it is too heavy so they have to break the train in half and use the diesel to get it across.
