Nice! So, if you're looking for work in September then you're looking for something that is going to carry you through the fall, maybe even the winter! If that's the case, New England has a LOT of opportunities for you. Tourism picks up in the fall with the Autumn colors AND in the winter you get a lot of winter-sport enthusiasts coming for the skiing and hiking! I would look into the Appalachian Mountain Club, Ice Castles NH, Ski resorts, Hotels, and Hostels in the New England area, There's work out there, if you apply now you can get into it easy ;) Where are you working now?

Thanks for the reply! I'll be at a fishery there (icicle) to get some money up and start the traveling. My goal is to be able to thru-hike the AT eventually so anything in New England would work out grade A. I'll apply to whatever is available now to get my name in there, I'm sure those spots fill up fast. I'm a Sou Chef at the moment so if they have kitchen work it wouldn't be to difficult.

@@jamescunliffe9649 There is definitely a need for cooks, room and board may or may not be available for those jobs, but you might be able to find roommates who you can split rent with off the books so you're not obligated by a contract to pay for long. The Appalachian Mountain Club takes employees year round, and the room and board is cheap. I think throwing your name in that hat is a good starting place

@@jamescunliffe9649 They do, you can apply for housekeeping and kitchen jobs, but to be a chef you might not be offered room and board, those tend to be full time positions but room and board is only offered to seasonal staff
