I like your comments about the aftermarket mods. I couldn't agree more.

Nice bike! I found a 2003 red on craiglist and it was pristine! Your video served me as a reference to know more about the bike and what to look for in CG. Thanks!

Cool man! I live in Maryland on the Shore! My shadow is a 91 and I thought the bikes were like the cars. 2o years or so. Nice to know you can put historics on them.

I'm looking at picking one of these up too. First indication it's been dropped are those aftermarket turn signals. How's it been running since?

Hi, how long do you have to ride with the choke engaged after a cold start?

Do you think a 90s nighthawk would be a good beginner bike? I'm 6'3 220lbs and still growing so a 250 doesn't really appeal to me at all. I'm not really worried about the power because I'm confident I can resist the temptation, I'm more worried about the weight. They are pretty affordable so If I dump it I guess I would cry less lol. What do you think? Thanks.

I'm 6'1" and sometimes feel my 750 is a little too small for me. You might want to look at one of the adventure bikes as they have higher seat heights. The 750 was my first bike and I never had any trouble with it having too much power. After a couple of years, I wanted more power, so, yeah, definitely don't go with a 250.
@245ben7 жыл бұрын
Nah, the thing is small, I'm 5'11" and it was a bit small for me. I only drove it at MTC but I'm sure as hell getting one because of how cheap they are.
@alexreyes96727 жыл бұрын
I test rode one when I was looking for a bike WAYY TOO SMALL for me haha.. I ended up getting a 1995 honda magna vf750c which is still small for me but it's much more comfortable than the nighthawk was. I will probably upgrade to a bigger/faster cruiser when summer comes :)

It's not hard to rejet the carburetor there's a kit you can buy on Amazon for different stages the problem is getting to them and then having them synchronized

i found a 93 nighthawk with 31k for $1999 at my local motorcycle dealer. this will be my first bike. Have you found any reliability issues with your bike? Should I be concerned with anything with 31k miles? Everything checks out mechanically and I've heard these things are pretty bullet proof
@ThatMoparKid7 жыл бұрын
Alex Christian I hear they're pretty reliable I found on for the same price with 29 thousand miles

Couldn't agree more on the aftermarket crap people put on their bikes! I own a 93 nighthawk and i keep it stock and only swapped the aging brake hose to stainless steel braided ones. The verdict of the Nighthawks is that they are plain, boring and uneventful but it all really depends what the rider could do to make it come alive! I swear if you ride it at the ragged edge, it secretly just wants to be a Gixxer 750.

hey john. my name is andy mayes, Brevard, nc,.. I bought the exact same bike. 92' cb 750 night hawk. built in 91' per the data plate. i've owned it for about 2 months and have loved every minute of it. I enjoyed your video. clean bike. it would be nice to have some communications with someone who owns one. my web page can give you some info on me "connestee concierge.com." would love to chat with you about this machine. i've owned a number of bikes over the years, but mostly airplanes and helicopters. i'm a retired helicopter pilot raising a 13 yr old alone. oh yea!! anyway, if ur still alive it would be nice to hear from you. thanks. andy

+andrew mayes how does flying a helicopter compare to the nighthawk lol?
@andrewmayes41238 жыл бұрын
driving a motorcycle is a lot like flying a helicopter. you can never let go of anything. both machines are a blast to operate but both can kill u equally if u get complacent. but I really miss driving helicopters. it is the most incrediable thing you can do....period. ive flown just about everything with wings and rotors, I scuba dive, fly hang gliders, jets and all kinds of exprimentals. but helicopters are hands down the most fun.i have a few questions regarding my nighthawk. my # is 828-554-1698. if u felt like you could call me sometime I would be grateful. my email is rangerjet206@gmail.com. sorry im so late getting back to you. sincerely andy mayes Brevard, NC
