When you have full control of your layout like this you will never go back to any other older systems , works very well your setup...jim

Hi Anthony. I have a SPROG as well. I think a SPROG would run an entire layout if paired with a cheap booster from Maplins or somewhere, As it is it'll easily run a couple of sound locos. The SPROG is definetly better for programming CVs than the Elite.

I'd buy a SPROG every time. The newer one has an inbuilt booster, but does cost more than a conventional SPROG. Still a lot cheaper than an Elite though. Remember you'll need a pc or laptop as well as the SPROG.

Thanks mate im gona get the sporg 3 i think as £60 is peanuts for computer dcc now days ! Also i have multiple laptops and pc's and hopefully i still have my older laptop from last year that i can use for the sprog :D . If not ive got my laptop and a raspberry pi ;) sprog now supports raspberry pi :D

Yes, Ive used a ipod, and ipad. so a iphone will be no probs.

you can control 2. But I only do 1. You can connect more thgan 1 phone or ipod at a time though.
