Live croaker was the desired bait this morning for some Hungry inshore fish. Using a free lined method I caught some Quality Speckled trout and redfish early in the morning before the wind and rain ran us off. Almost broke my Personal best on this trip!

I remember going fishing with a guide out of Corpus Christi. He rigged them up with a rattle on his line. We shook the line to make it rattle and make the croaker “croak” and we hooked some nice fish.

Great flounder spot just about 3 to 4 foot off the bottom with a grub hardly no jig just light movement that's the right weather with in the tides I use to float away from there with at least 40 to 50 restaurant size flounders that's where I sell them at on the island I use to live at the campground @ that time when punkin capt snapper had his seafood shop there on the island. I sure miss the island life. it's good to see locals there doing fishing videos I'm enjoying it from here on my phone in Mississippi lol. But brother young man I'm subscribing to your channel to help out. I wish I had thought of this in my younger days but hell I don't remember if we had KZfaq back in my days 😎😁 keep up the good videos I'd like to tag along with y'all. stay safe and fish on brothers

It depends on the conditions for me. When I know there is trout in the area I will hook them there because the hookup ratio is better IMO, vs if I’m having to kinda search for them making more than 1 or 2 casts I’ll hook them in the nose or top lip
