think about your rent (i.e eval/ reset/ monthly cost) to capital (i.e max drawdown, sorry I don’t buy the “marketing” capital size) makes sense vis-a-vis funding by yourself via discount broker with proper risk management You are probably not going trade a full 2 ES Contracts with max drawdown of 625 for 100k static account anyway without risking too much

Good luck with it, I like the EOD options a lot, I think they are superior to the static drawdown offerings. 1) if you choose tradingview as your broker they give you both tradingview and Tradovate since they use the tradingview plug-in offered by Tradovate. When you login to tradingview with it, it’ll use the data from Tradovate to populate the contacts you trade on and allow you to place your trades through there. It doesn’t upgrade your tradingview subscription though, so while you’ll have access to all futures at no extra cost since they are provided by linking your broker, preventing you from needing to pay for data from tradingview, if you want the features that allow extra indicators or multiple assets being viewed on the same window, you’ll still have to upgrade to the pro version of tradingview. The good news is once you are funded & receive your first payout, next year you’ll get a 1099-NEC so you can write off your tradingview costs if you get the pay for versions. 2) I don’t pay for the extra data, I don’t leverage the DOM so I’m okay with top of book. However, if you want level 2 data it’s an extra subscription cost in the ETF portal. Again,once you get your first payout you can write this stuff off end of year and reduce what you pay in taxes so be sure to save any and all receipts related to trading (level 2 data, tradingview pro, new laptop/monitors, reset fees, ETF eval/subscription fees, etc).

I really liked Rocket Scooter and their ways of simplifying complex data points, however I was an early adopter and ran into some issues on the platform that impact myself and a few others so didn't feel comfortable covering it until this were resolved. I still intend to revisit them someday, but had a lot of personal things pop up in life that put it on the back burner (all good things) so it sort of got away from me. I've since heard they fixed a lot of those early issue and know a few people having great success with what they offer.

Unfortunately not for tradovate but there are brokers like Tasty Trades that I believe support this. Also check out sites like roboforex and copyfx. You can copy trades of some great forex traders on these sites if it's supported in your country.

I use the same thing across the board, dealer positioning & dark pool data for macro analysis and key levels going into the trading day and then a combination of ICT smart money concepts (order blocks, rejection blocks, breaker blocks, fair value gaps, etc) with some volume price analysis mixed in for entries/exits on the chart. The one caveat when doing your eval to be aware of is you are better off taking profits after a big move then re-entering on the retrace if possible, rather than holding through and pyramiding entries, because of trailing drawdown limits. However, once you are funded and hit your initial profit goal, the trailing drawdown is no longer a concern.

I’ll get the exact details but he’s doing something with quantower and Tradovate API’s as he outgrew ETF. I’m going to put together a free script for it soon and post it on a web site im working on for this kind of stuff for free. Well in this case it’s far beyond $10k. Initially you can start with smaller accounts but the potential really ramps up when you get several $250k+ accounts going at once. Your small accounts can stay on 1 mini per trade while the larger can do 20 Mini’s per trade. You could absolutely do that as long as you are okay with managing others money. The key factor is the emotional impact of trading friends & family money that isn’t buffered by a prop firm. It adds another layer of stress when trading grandma’s life savings vs money provided by a prop firm (might sound silly to say but the psych factor is big!)

Yes definitely want to have a consistently profitable strategy you’re using otherwise you are just resetting account after account & while it’s better often times than burning through a personal account, it’s still a big waste.

I don't know of any that exist for options trading. I believe all choices are either for futures or forex because those are the most liquid markets.
