Hi Lewis i hope you can help with these questions: - Should i skip tracking template and only go with final URL suffix? and why is there two options, either template or suffix? i can't get what is the difference. - Custom parameters are attributes that can be read by other 3rd parties but not by google right?

How is UTM different from parameters, especially I I want to track AD/Campaign/AD group performance in any CRM?

So how do you test if you're using Performance Max campaigns, then? This is all super straight forward, but setting these up for an ecom account which is using plenty of Performance Max campaigns, there's no test option to confirm. I figure I would just look for a custom param pull in the url, have GTM watch for that specific URL Param show up as a trigger, then pass than info on to analytics as an event, but it seems convoluted for a process that honestly should be more straight forward here as it's already possible in Dynamic and RSA ads.

if you want to track a lead form submission you will have to use conversions. you can either set them up in analytics and import it to google ads or set it up directly via google Ads

Yes, you can add the template inside of each campaign settings and change the Custom parameter for each campaign.

Campaign URL options: Add {lpurl} or other landing page parameters to your tracking template. Tracking templates must reference your final URL.
